CLC William Pitt receives mixed reviews. While some parents praise it as the best daycare in Stamford with great teachers, others report serious concerns about inconsistent security protocols, teacher conduct issues, and inadequate handling of children with behavioral challenges.
The teachers in my grandsons classes where great, however even after 3 years they still require you show a "Card” to enter, security I understand, it turns out a child was taken by someone who should not have on the property. And still certain individuals are being allowed entry without following proper protocol while others are strictly checked (by the same lady at the front desk, not Jennifer), that inconsistency is a legitimate concern for all the children there. Not only does it undermine the security measures in place, but it also raises questions about fairness and possible bias. So I escalate the issue and had management review video footage confirming she lied and did not check the lady before me but made me show my card. I was hopeful they would take this security and bias issue seriously and address it directly with that staff member to ensure consistent enforcement of policies for everyone, but it was not and in speaking to other parents, they have witnessed her do the same thing, so if being treated fairly and your Childs safety is an issue, you might want to try a different daycare.
My child told on her teacher on how she's always angry even squeezed her arm because she drops a toy on the floor..then the teacher goes on a campaign to have my child removed,they have an open classroom no doors or walls to other part of the classes, so every time my daughter wondered to the other side of the room or the hallways she reports it as an incident,escalate it and forward it to her supervisor that the child is unsafe to be there. Now everyday my daughter is drop off and she wonders to the hallways she will inform her supervisor to have the child picked up instead of attending to my daughter as she does with the other children.
I would NOT recommend. If you have a child with any behavior issues DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. They do not know how to handle children at all. Thank me later
I went here for preschool and I loved it. I miss being here, I also miss Mrs.Mary and Mrs.Helen. Its been almost 7 years I believe? Im in sixth garde now so....it has obviously been a long time
