Children getting bit, and and having to be pulled off of other children by teachers, then the facility tells the parent the child will be place on a behavioral contract! That is not okay ! The child should have been immediately removed from the school considering the severity of the situation. Please do better and protect the other children!
We had our child enrolled for a week before we switched her to a different school. Nothing “bad” happened to our child, we just were not satisfied with the school overall. First, communication between the school, teacher, classroom, etc. was practically 0, unlike what you’d expect from a preschool that uses an app like Procare. We also overheard some interactions between teachers and children that we did not like, for example, teachers yelling/talking very loudly at children in a negative way. I’m also not confident that any learning/teaching was actually happening. Lastly, every day we would pick our child up from school and they would be completely exhausted and not like themself. Now that they’re at a new school, they are back to their normal self and thriving. I do not recommend this school to my friends or neighbors.
BBMA and staff have been so effective and efficient in getting our child to where he needs to be. The curriculum is outstanding and the staff is loving and attentive. Our child loves to go to school. I could not ask for better people to care for Kyler.
Our son has been at Big Blue Marble Academy all of his life. He is 3.5 at this time. Our staff is loving and attentive, so hands on. As he has moved from class to class, each and every teacher has been supportive and has always made him feel special. I would not take Ky anywhere else. We appreciate all that the staff does for us. We love you BBMA! 💙
It has taken me a while to get the courage to write this because I wanted to be level headed and make sure I put down everything. If I could give this place zero stars I would. We pulled our child from this establishment due to several very concerning issues. Her teacher constantly belittled her, yelled at her, screamed at her and ignored her. The teacher was constantly over ratio and would turn something on YouTube on an iPad for the kids to watch just so she didn’t have to deal with them. It got to the point my child was scared to go to daycare and I didn’t find out why until a couple of weeks later. The teacher was rude and ignored me when I brought up concerns about my child and the way she acted when I dropped her off. Her spare clothes, diapers and wipes were constantly stolen and they didn’t want to replace them. There was zero communication between the staff and myself. I tried speaking to the director multiple times and she either avoided me or ignored me. I could never get anyone on the phone. Even after we left they kept charging us for tuition even though we fulfilled the two week notice of withdrawal and when I tried to get it fixed everyone acted as if it wasn’t their problem and tried to push it off into someone else. I honestly wouldn’t trust these people with a goldfish.
