I just photographed a wedding here and this church was amazing. From the gentlemen that was more than helpful showing me around to the construction crew that made sure we knew they would stop working prior to the wedding. There were some great spots for photos with the sun behind us.. so ideal. I'm posting some photos for inspiration.. and the church doors are soooooo beautiful. ~Maria • Pink Heart Photography
I love this church so much. Open and affirming! The pastors are forward thinking and embrace all equally. The organ is to die for! And the new choir director is pretty awesome!
Here at CUCC you will find a love and life affirming congregation. It is a mainline Protestant, but very progressive, church that truly practices what it preaches — “All are welcome here.” Here, you will be welcomed with open arms and open minds.
Claremont UCC combines many features of traditional, mainstream Protestant church-going with a forward-looking, fun and open-minded approach to worship. The sermons are interesting and well constructed, intellectually rich and thought-provoking. The choir is outstanding and there's a wide range of special music ranging from classical to folky, all performed very well. It's nice to be in church with a large number of families with young children. The overall vibe is politically liberal but not overbearingly so. Give it a try!
I so enjoy the sermons at this church. They are relevant, timely, practical and inspiring. They are based on parts of the Bible I haven't explored in the past. And then the prayers are written to support the sermon and message. As is the wonderful music. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. I have found a wonderful community.
