When my granddaughter started here I was relieved to find a close place that fit our needs. For three years now we've supposed to be working on her kindergarten requirements because her birthday falls 12 days after cut off date. We practiced our numbers, shapes, colors and of course her name, first name. She can do all the requirements listed, but write her last name, we were never made aware she would need to know and write her last name to get into kindergarten. She can tell you her full name. I've never heard of this before. I thought kindergarten was where you learned to do these things at. To be able to progress to first grade. Seems the system works to break down the ones who work hard to get where their trying to go.
My family has been using this daycare service for more than 20 years. The staff really cares about the development of the children; not just academically, but the social & emotional well-being too.
