We rented the rec center for a meeting. It was nice. The gentleman on it was friendly and helpful. The restroom and kitchen area were clean and sufficient.
This was my second time visiting. The place is very spacious. Would definitely recommend to family and friends having events like a baby shower or kids birthday party. Only issue we had was that it started pouring raining and there was no mop available for us to use.
This is a cute little hidden gem! They have a basketball court, a recreation center, playground, and last but not least, a skate park. In comparison to Old Fourth Ward's skate park it is much smaller and not as diverse but it's great for kids or if you're just starting out. They have some little ramps, stairs, and rails.
Fun park with a good playground. Some really neat art installs that can be climbed. Really great creek surrounds the park, but it is very littered as are most of the streams in south west Atlanta. Small skate park that we didn't use, but had several people using it.
Thanks to Coca Cola and the City of Atlanta for the park, The Skating area is extremely small and generally only 5 skaters can safely enjoy the area at the same time. There are no awesome dips or hips at this park. I took my Grand son and when we arrived, there was already a wall of 10 skaters waiting their turn. There were four actively skating, Others visitors came with board in hand but left right away because of the limited area. There are less than 15 parking spaces but a lot of unused grounds to the East of the Park. Please consider expanding the park to safely accommodate the larger number of interested skaters in the Southern tier of the belt-line. This can be a prime draw to the area being as close to the expressway with less traffic that the 4th ward I have been to the Fourth Ward Skate Park and many of those visitors were from the South City Side of Atlanta.
