Recently, I have began visiting as many parks as possible. I stop in at each park and check out everything it has to offer. With these reviews, I’m rating each park on 5 different factors. Cleanliness & Maintenance, Amenities & Features, Accessibility & Safety, Environment & Atmosphere, Recommendation & Best Fit. This park was clean, maintained, and kept properly. Only maintenance complain is the bleachers near the football field but the rest of the park totally makes up for it! 4/5 This park had a few different amenities and features to offer. From shaded walking trails to tennis and basketball courts. This park has plenty to offer. It also has a playground for the little ones. 5/5 The sidewalks were clean and sturdy, making it easily accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. There are many cameras and I felt very safe being in this park. 5/5 The environment was great! There was lots of greenery and shaded areas, which I really enjoyed. The atmosphere was warm and comforting. This is the type of park any community would love to have. 5/5 Recommendation: I recommend this park to anyone passing through. Although, it might not have things you haven’t seen before, it’s definitely worth it to check out. Best fit: This park is best fit for pretty much anyone. I observed young children playing on the playground, teenagers playing football on the large field, young adults playing tennis/pickleball, and elderly folks walking the sidewalks. This is a great park! Overall rating and recommendation: 5/5. Highly recommended.
The trails and the basketball court, tennis courts, little gymnasiums everything here is great And the best thing is is no one knows about it so it’s not crowded
This park offers a nice place to stroll with your family and enjoy a nice view of the surrounding down-town areas, while being in "walking" distance from everything, and a "not-so-short" walk from the Georgia Aquarium. Many services, ball parks, campus activities. We came to this park for the Shaky Knees Music Festival and very much enjoyed our stay. This part of the city has many trees and offers much more shade than we expected. A good thing.
Shaky Knees concert was great in central park. The multi stage set up was ideal and the staff was very helpful every moment of the event. The only downside was the amount of hills and root-ridden areas that became difficult to navigate especially in the rain.
Enjoyed the Re:Set festival in Central Park. Well managed, lots of restrooms, short vendor lines, and good sound. Central Park itself could be better situated in transit, but overall it wasn't too difficult to access.
