What Parents Say
Christ Lutheran Preschool receives mostly positive feedback from parents, with many reporting strong academic outcomes and a caring community environment. However, a few parents have expressed concerns about teacher favoritism, bullying responses, and classroom materials.
Today was grandparents day. It was a day of celebration. A catered breakfast was served. A visit to your grandchilds classroom, and a program was performed by all the children from preschool to 8th grade. A flyer was given to Coco's. A percentage was given to the 8th grade for their trip to Washington DC. Service at Coco's was excellent. All in all it was a wonderful day.
Both of my children went here and have done very well in high school and college! We love this place and we also attend church here. Pastor Jonathan Brandenburg is great.!
This church is a great place! I do not really follow Christianity, however I do play on occasion with the small music ensemble. One of the church goers is a friend of mine through my old private violin instructor. She had asked me when I was a sophomore in high school if I would contribute to the ensemble, I gladly accepted and have been a part in many wonderful little performances since. The community is great, the vibes are great, the service is very relaxed and filled with classical, hymnal style church music. If you're ever I'm the area or free on a Sunday morning pop in and stick around for at least the music!
Not a good school. People are mean, we must forgive and forget, but some of the homeroom teachers don't even help when someone is getting bullied. As teachers they should help and be encouraging. They pick favorites and it is very obvious. They don't give second chances and are not helpful in anyway. I don't recommend.
My son is in the 3rd grade and this is his first year at CLS. He was struggling at his previous school with his school work and the only solution they had was to give him an IEP which basically means they just grade him at a lower standard. When he came to CLS he started to excel almost immediately...no IEP. The level of the material is even more challenging than in the public school. The staff, teachers and principle really care about each student and put 110% effort into their success. The second week at CLS my son came home and said "Mom, there's no bullying at this school like there was at my other school. Everyone is so nice to each other." Praise God! And Praise this School!
