First, let me say that I usually do not write online reviews, but I feel Chris Learning Center in Clinton, MD deserves my time and honest opinion. I cannot say enough wonderful things about CLC. From the moment we enrolled our daughter, it was clear we had chosen the right place! This daycare demonstrates an exceptional level of empathy and compassion for our child’s unique personality and needs. As a full-time professional, there were times I had to rely on their flexibility and support to accommodate my family’s unique circumstances—and they always came through with understanding and grace. What truly sets them apart from the rest is their unwavering commitment to providing not only a safe and nurturing space, but also one that fosters growth, learning, and creativity in a welcoming environment that feels like a second home. We wholeheartedly recommend Chris Learning Center to any family seeking a daycare that goes above and beyond.

My two children have attended this Chris Learning Center, I have been more than pleased. They have always presented professionalism and most importantly empathy and care. My children have attended for two years. My son started at 6 weeks and my daughter at 2 y.o. I have noticed new skills being developed and positive social interactions. I thank all of the staff at Chris Learning Center they treated us like a second family. I always felt my children were safe, and heard at Chris Learning Center. From the beginning I felt weird because the staff was rude and I gave it a doubt of it so I keep moving forward thinking that this is the best I can do for my child. Today, June 28, 2021 we were on time 7AM and I saw the staff arriving after us so they where not ready so we had to wait out side but that is not compare with what I’m going to share soon. After they where ready I went in with my baby he is 2 years we both were excited. It is my first time leaving my son in a day care and it is also his first time. One of the staff said, ok you can leave him and she was trying to take my son out from my hands like reaping him from my arm and I said wait a minute. You can’t not do that there should be a transition so he can get distracted before I leave. He needs to be distracted not just like this he obviously will cry. So I got a little upset about it. I went to the room with my son and indeed he get distracted with some toys and so I move out from that room and went close to the entrance. I said the lady I will wait here until he is 100% confortable and he is having fun. There where no kids still it was almost 7:40AM. So I told her I will wait for some kids to arrive so I know he will get distracted play and have fun. So, suddenly the owner is the school Crist enters and she asked me to leave that my kids will be ok. They don’t allowed parents to wait there and she kept insisting me to leave and I told her. No, I will stay until I see kids of his age to enter so he is comfortable and not scared. How she projected herself to me, I felt her fake, unprofessional and 0 of professionalisms. I couldn’t believe how in the world she has a business still standing. I was getting upset with her but I contained myself and I said myself I will stay and wait for kids to arrived. It passed 15 mins and the nightmare is coming alive. I was stunting there the music inside the classroom was loud so I didn’t realized when they took my baby out to the outdoor side where the door was close and that door is sound proof. I heard my baby some how screen crying and I almost go and I said myself I won’t over react, trust them they may gave him a toy or something to be distracted. I said myself don’t be over protective so I hold myself behind that wall. Because of the music was loud a count hearing him any more after 3 mins or so again I heard another screen this time like giving his last breath of help!!!!! So I run and I didn’t see my son In the room and I went out... I will never forget this picture... my son was holding himself on a chair standing on the side looking to the ground almost falling down of pain... crying... 😭 like a have never saw that in my entire life of having him. I left guilt for leaving him. I started crying upset. The teacher he was with him didn’t do anything. She was just standing like this is normal. How in the hell this is normal???? Why I didn’t see her with a toy or trying to calm him down using techniques or if she couldn’t do that then why she didn’t call me I was THERE. I was there. I think he was took by one of the staffs first then the teacher arrived but still it involves more people not knowing what to do!!! My baby... I screamed when I saw him in that stage. The owner came what I hear from her mouth got me more furious she said it just happened and he starting crying. She is an IGNORANT!!! I told her I leave with him and I know for him to get that stage almost to have a heart attack was not recently crying. Shame with her. She even had the courage to told me, doesn’t he cry like that at your home? Like this is normal she is SICK, PSYCHOPATH!!! Of course not! He is a child. He doesn’t understand what you want or how you want thing neither what I want HE IS A BABY!. We have to be conscious he is just a child! My kid is my miracle my love a blessing from God and to see him on that stage broke my heart. If you leave your kid in this school pay attention is not worth it. This shouldn’t happen. It is child abuse. Kids are restless to share how they are threaded. Good luck.

My 20 month old has been attending Chris' Learning Center for 6 months, and we love it. I can't get her out of the car fast enough when we arrive to the center in the mornings. It's wonderful to see how excited she is to go into the building every morning. The staff is committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment for all of the children and for that, I am truly thankful. My baby is happy, and this makes me a very happy parent. If you are near the Fort Washington area, I highly recommend this daycare center.

Chris’ Learning Center is a child’s home away from home. The staff is very warm, friendly & welcoming. They give a sense of peace and ease with leaving your little ones with them, from the moment you enter the facility. The staff is very professional and highly trained to care for your little ones in the most proper way. Their communication is superior and top notch. They quickly resolve any issues you may have and address concerns in a timely manner. Not to mention, the facility is as clean as can be, and very secure to ensure the safety of the children. I have a 3 year old and 1 year old in their program. Both of my children’s social and developmental skills have improved significantly. They are on point for their ages. I couldn’t have asked for a better childcare facility to care for my children. This place is the best!
