What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Children's Wonderland as a cherished holiday destination with immersive Christmas displays, activities, and attractions. The facility offers games, train rides, mini golf, Santa meet-and-greets, and concessions in a well-organized space that appeals to families seeking nostalgic holiday traditions. Many reviewers note the reasonable pricing and staff friendliness.
It is a mix of new Christmas scenes like Harry Potter and Elf, and original Christmas scenes that have been displayed at Children's Wonderland since it first opened in the 1970s! The mold-a-matics were fixed this year (2025) and a children's play area is located in the back for blocks, games, snacks to purchase, and tables to rest at. Pricing is still very reasonable and there is a lot to see in such a small space. Can't wait for 2026!
One of our favorite Christmas traditions! Kids games and crafts as well as the train all included in admission. Also, Santa is top tier, with options for photo packages or kids can just sit on his lap! Concessions reasonably priced. Would recommend for kids 10 and under or anyone who loves Christmas displays!
Very fun event for us and the kids. Got ourselves some hot chocolate and pretzels, rode the train, played put-put golf, and got to see so many awesome displays. It's definitely worth the time and the drive.
For those who grew up coming here, it's a beautiful step back in time. Your kids are going to love it and you are going to feel like a kid right next to them. There is so much to see in the many Christmas displays that the only thing better than seeing the place so lit up is seeing the children's faces light up as they walk through. The old-school wax figure machines are there which took me back to being a kid because the moment I saw one I was filled with joy and excitement. They have a section for the kids to just run around and play in which our little one had an absolute blast! There is of course Santa! If you are looking for something to do that feels like the holidays and creates long lasting memories, this is the place!
I was a nice family experience. It didn't seem as big or as "magical" as I remembered it being when it was at the Recreation Center but it was still fun. My stepdaughter seemed like she enjoyed herself. I did not like the fact they had Santa way back in a corner and hidden from view, you had to stand in line to see him. What about the kids who are scared to sit with him but would still like to see him from afar? There was a free train small kids could ride and a play area with mini golf, letters to Santa and small craft kit kids could do. There was also had a snack shack. The only thing I would change was the unmarked creepy voiced talking tree, near the entrance, that seemed to only want to talk to the teen girls who walked by. My stepdaughter tried talking to it after seeing the teen girls talking to it but got no response. The price was good, nothing is that cheap anymore and it was worth it for a few hours of family fun time. We are going to try and make this a new yearly family tradition.
