This is a great school, I have sent 3 different children on and off for the last 12 years. Staff is friendly and communicates well, affordable prices. Ms. Wendy is always looking for ways to improve and is willing to work anywhere to make operations smooth. They are always looking for ways to engage and keep the children entertained. I would recommend for VPK, daycare or after school care.
She refers to the special neeeds kids (ESE) as slow and stupid. If you’re not going to love on everyone and treat them equally you don’t need to be in this profession! Yes they’re a little harder to work with but when you do what you love and love what you do, you see the beauty in their shortcomings and want to help them to progress to lead as normal and peaceful of a life as everyone else. Completely distasteful and unacceptable!
I moved my son to the Children’s Nest after not being pleased with his previous school. It was the best decision! My son loves going to school (VPK), has learned so much, and is doing so well. They educate the children while still remembering that they are still young children and they have other needs outside of just academics. I cannot say enough good things about this place. All of the teachers including the director have truly been amazing and we will miss this place when my son starts kindergarten. If you are searching for an amazing place to send your children that truly care about your child, then definitely consider sending your child here.
My son graduated VPK here in Mrs. Maria's class and I can't say enough good things about this place! We had some not so great experiences at other preschool facilities. Childerns Nest made my kid feel safe, heard, and taken care of! He actually trusted the teachers and the director, Mrs. Wendy, and it showed in his better behavior and willingness to learn in a classroom setting! My husband and I are very grateful for this school.
I definitely would recommend this daycare to other parents as the staff is welcoming, caring and compassionate to children and parents. I am a hands on parent and love the opportunity to go and visit my children through out the day. Ms. Wendy is very understanding. I am also grateful for the teachers Ms. Maria, Ms. Shonda and Ms. Janice for their ability to understand and work with my children's learning styles. Beyond grateful for the opportunity to have my children in such a loving facility.
