Reservoir Ymca After School Program

Nice little Y that made me feel like I was in a throwback while I was in town. The weight equipment was a little dated but efficient. All the plates are the old metal plates that we all know are heavier. They have to be— right? The facility is maintained well. It is a little smaller so it does feel a little crowded even when there aren’t a lot of people there. I only encountered one piece of equipment that they didn’t have that I wanted. The cable stations aren’t clearly marked for weight but those vary from gym to gym anyway and we are all guessing. All in all; if you’re looking for a gym, this would be a good one. It’ll probably make you stronger than your buddy who is using newer weights anyway.

Quiet, scenic and clean. Updated bathrooms, well maintained playground. RV spaces along the river are a treat with a pull through drive and U-turn at the end. We were met at the gate by the friendly on-site staff. Very helpful for choosing the perfect spot. We could watch the barges and boats on the water our son was entranced.

Very nice place an park to just sit an chill out an enjoy the rez, u might have some visitors come to u an quack! Also u can take a swim too if u like 👍🏽

The place is nice for a picnic, the patrol was very friendly and helpful. The tables needed pressure washing because of the geese. I would suggest having the pavilions that are rented pressure washed for the people. It's hard setting a table with all the geese droppings....unpleasant to be exact.

I like this location honestly because there’s usually less people there when I go. The weight machines are new enough for me and they have everything for a good workout. The Flowood location does have a better variety of machines if you like to change up your workout.
