Love, love, love CLP. Mrs. Rai and her staff are absolutely amazing. Our son went there from age two through five (he’s just starting kindergarten now). They helped with potty training, socializing, speech, literacy, motor skills, discipline, independence and a whole lot more I’m sure I’m forgetting. Drop off is as early as 8am and pick up as late as 5:30pm. There aren’t a ton of openings (I think they have about 25 spots), so they have a great teacher to child ratio. Every staff member was kind, nurturing, and encouraging. My son learned and grew so much under their guidance. I seriously don’t know what we would’ve done if we didn’t find this hidden gem. Our son was more than prepared for kindergarten and CLP played such a huge role in that. Considering the cost is comparable to day care rates and they provide a Montessori based education, this is the best deal in town.
I went to Children’s Learning Path Montessori school from 2011-2013 for preschool and kindergarten. CLPM was truly one of the highlights of my childhood. I recently visited to see Mrs. Rai and I remembered why the school was truly so special. When I went to CLPM, I always remembered doing math and writing exercises that were engaging and challenging. I remember that once I began first grade at public school, I felt that I was ahead of my peers because of all of the amazing teaching at CLPM. The comfort and love for school that CLPM brought me was truly special and I am absolutely confident that it set me up for all of my future academic successes. CLPM also changed my life socially, allowing me to meet my best friend who I am still best friends with today. Their emphasis on learning and social connection impacted me deeply in my developmental years and I am incredibly grateful for the role that CLPM played in my life. I highly recommend that any parents send their kids to CLPM to truly encourage their academic and social development! It really will be some of the best years of their lives. Thank you Mrs. Rai!
Our 3 year old daughter goes here, and she loves it. She has progressed so much socially and academically. The teachers and staff are so nice and patient. They take special attention to each student and you can tell they really care. It is an excellent daycare/school, and it is definitely not brought up enough. Love it here, and I highly recommend it!!
Our daughter has been going to CLPM for the past year. She has flourished both academically and socially. I believe this has to do in a large part to two factors, the environment and the teachers. The Montessori environment allows for children to explore their prime area of learning. CLPM has allowed my daughter to really explore reading and writing which she is very interested in. She is able to choose what she would like to learn. At the same time it is a very structured and organized area for learning. There are no kids running around and yelling. They are hard at work at their own stations working for the most part independently. They learn social skills, how to interact with other kids when there is a disagreement or feelings have been hurt. How to wash their dishes and other every day skills are also learned at school. The teachers at CLPM are amazing. They know each child individually and spend time with each one making sure that they are fostering and encouraging them to excel in their areas of interest. They allow the child to be a leader in they're learning process. For example my daughter wanted to bring her slippers from Thailand that she got for Christmas to school to show the other students. I wasn't sure if this was something the whole class was doing, bringing a Christmas present to show, or just something she had thought up on her own. When we got there in the morning and talked to Miss Rei she said it was not something school was doing but asked my daughter if she would like to show the class and allowed her to do so. (Asked my daughter, like she was speaking to an adult, not asking me as if my daughter didn't exist) The open structured time allows for each child to really have a individualized learning experience. My daughter loves going to school. The previous school/daycare she was at she had a hard time with drop off. She would cling to me and cry. We haven't had any of those problems at CLPM. She loves her teachers and her friends and going to "work". She tells us all about the work she did that day. I wish I had had a Montessori program when I was a child, specifically for learning math. I think it would have made so much more sense. I highly recommend a good Montessori program in general and CLPM specifically!!
My child goes to CLMP and loves it. She is progressing, socially, and academically so well, and the teachers and staff are all wonderful.
