Children'S Learning Adventure Child Care Center

I have a 6 month old at Children's Learning Adventure off 242. I love the staff and facility. When I visit my daughter around lunch on occasion, I see the toddler teachers lovingly make sure the toddler's blankets cover them during nap time. It is so sweet and to see the teachers actually care for their students. The director of the facility (Mrs. Taylor Reilly) knows all the infants' names (so I assume many of the other students). She is incredible. I am very pleased with how they adhere to state daycare laws and probably go above and beyond (make sure bottles aren't left out, proper diaper changing, daily cleaning, etc). I appreciate the communication with the infant teachers daily when dropping off and picking up and most importantly the daily communication sheet. As more infants were added to their program they didn't hesitate to add 2 more quality teachers and add another room. The main 2 infant teachers have been there for years and we love them. As a mom, I know my daughter is being well looked after and cared for. That peace of mind is worth it for us to drive a little out of our way and drive pass several other daycares to get to CLA.

I won't go anywhere else EVER AGAIN!!! This facilty is absolutely amazing! We were here for about 6 months and adored it, we ended up having to leave because of where we lived. We lasted a whole week at the other place when I pulled my daughter out and came back to CLA (regardless of a farther drive). Everyone here treats your child like their own. They know them by name and always greet with smiles or hugs for the kids. I never have to worry about the safety of my child here and nothing compares to that. I want to thank CLA from the bottom of my heart for loving my baby girl like family! Taylor is one of the best directors I have ever come in contact with! The rest of the staff up front is exceptional! The teachers, I don't even know where to start, EVERY teacher that we have had has been absolutely amazing! I just can't say enough!

PROS: The teachers really care about my kid. They always have a smile for her and know her routine. The staff love my kid, and they all know her by name. The facility is gorgeous: my kid is enamored with the fish tank. I know the food is good, because she’s eating all of her meals and asking for seconds. CONS: The school just lets my kid do whatever she wants because she doesn’t act out. My kid has minimal structure, and that’s probably because the ratios are so high. One teacher for 12 toddlers is not nearly enough. I’ve noticed that her aptitudes have gone down: academia, social, bathroom habits. CLA was great for a young toddler, but not for an older toddler. Overall I would recommend CLA to a friend.

The staff at CLA are top notch! They are compassionate, fun, and take the time to address the needs of each child. My son loves going to preschool there and they have numerous activities to keep him engaged.

It's pretty but dont let that distract you. A glorified daycare. Not much learning going on and front desk girls are uncaring and fake. Good thing my children's allergies are not severe otherwise they wouldve been hospitalized due to very confused teachers and front desk staff. I have to remind one teacher every morning that my kid can't eat the breakfast and every morning she would try and give him breakfast. They were super great and seemed perfect for about a week. After that they ignore you. The director has difficulty dealing with different types of children and situations. The ONLY reason for 3 stars is Ms Erika in the PreK room. She is amazing and truly great at her job. You can see she truly cares about teaching and the children.
