I've been so impressed with the Children's House. They've taken such good care of our daughter, and we've watched her go from scared and unsettled in the first day at school, to now loving school and coming home telling us about all the fun. The team combines a depth of professional understanding with warmth and genuine care about our daughter's experience and development. As with most parents, where to place our child is a significant decision for us. While there are plenty of good options in Boulder, we're very confident and happy with the decision we made to go with Children's House. A wonderful place, and a wonderful team.

I have had two of my kids attend Children's House Preschool, and plan to have my third son attend as well. Children's House is everything I was looking for in a preschool. We had tried several other preschools in Boulder and weren't satisfied with any of them. Children's House has excellent, highly trained and capable teachers; most have degrees in early childhood education. In addition, their "storybook journey" program with a new book /school theme every month, the school environment is a constantly changing and stimulating experience for the children. However, my favorite aspect of CHP is their focus on diversity- both cultural and economic. Through grants and diligent work to connect with public funding they try to ensure that around 50% of their enrolled students are recipients of scholarships (for financial need). In addition, they actively work to create a welcoming environment for students of many different languages and cultures that celebrates diversity without sacrificing the program quality. In Boulder, schools and other groups can be pretty homogeneous so this was a very welcome change for me.

We love Children's House! Great curriculum, great teacher/student ratio, the children garden, compost, play outside, focus on stories and comprehension and the teachers are clearly dedicated to all the students. The kids help with snack time (healthy organic foods--even foods the kids grow in the summer) they paint, do art, costumes, puzzles, different themes for the month to learn about space, the ocean etc. And the teachers post updates and photos on the Parent/teacher website "StoryPark" so you can see what your child did during the day, talk about their activities and pictures with them--it's just a wonderful little school. So happy we found them.

Both our kids (daughter and son) have attended Children's House and we couldn't be happier. The teachers take great care in getting to know each child as an individual and work hard to help them feel comfortable and safe at school while having a blast. We started our oldest there after an unpleasant experience elsewhere and I knew we'd struck gold when she wrote a story about her new school, saying it was a place where "everyone is kind". Thank you Children's House!

We've sent both of our children to Children's House Preschool, with wonderful results. The teachers are truly world-class; the program director, Elaine, is a Boulder County teacher of the year awardee. The school's emphasis on storytelling, cultural diversity, play, and nutrition is wonderful. The facility is bright, clean, and well-maintained. The school offers flexible scheduling and their tuition is quite reasonable.
