Children’s Discovery Center in Waterville has been wonderful for our son. The teachers are warm, patient, and truly dedicated to helping children learn through play and exploration. Our son has grown so much socially and academically, and he’s excited to go to school every day. The communication is great, and the environment is clean, welcoming, and engaging. We’ve been part of the Children’s Discovery Center family in Waterville for years, and I can’t say enough good things about them. Our three kids have grown up there - from the infant room to their kindergarten program, and now before/after care - and the care and attention they’ve received at every stage has been incredible. Our oldest graduated from the CDC kindergarten program more than ready for first grade - the teachers there did an amazing job preparing him to hit the ground running, both academically and with confidence. We’re so grateful for everything the CDC team has done for our family and can’t recommend them highly enough!
Children’s Discovery Center has hands-down been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our kid. We adored our in-home sitter for his first two years, but moving to CDC gave us something we didn’t realize we were missing: real consistency and stability. In just six months, the growth we’ve seen has been wild. He’s sharper, more curious, and soaking up everything they teach. And it’s not just academics—his social skills and empathy have taken off too. Sure, the first couple of weeks were a little bumpy (transition chaos is a rite of passage), but once he found his rhythm, he was all in. He loves going to school. He adores his teachers—especially Ms. Mary, who gets talked about approximately 10,000 times a day when he is home. We’re genuinely grateful to be part of this community, and we’ll be sticking with CDC for the long haul. Ms. Lisa has been such a northstar for us. THANK YOU CDC for being so impactful for our family. We feel loved and most importantly safe and cared for.
