PARENTS BEWARE! My son attended the daycare for 6 years, my daughter 4. The owner(s) decided to call CPS, alleging my daughter had "too much healthcare, too many doctor visits." They didn't feel she needed these, as I guess, they know more than the doctors. They also pushed back on a diet preference (gluten free) for my daughter, when daycares are supposed to accommodate what a parent wants for their child. Oddly enough, one owner was gluten free. Confronting them, as they still charged me for half a month after I removed her, they responded with this " I personally turned in another parent two months ago and she understood why I did it. They are still here finishing up their final year." Maybe they make these calls excessively, abusing their daycare status? CPS allegation are very serious and it seems that this daycare may call when they don't like a parent(s). My CPS assessment was closed in a very short amount of time, as the allegations were found to be false. However, others may not be as fortunate. Also, my son busted his head open in one of their rooms - received 7 staples. Not one of the owners (Mom, son & daughter) called, texted or email to see how he was doing, nor did they ever ask how was doing when he returned. I WOULD ADVISE CURRENT & FUTURE PARENTS TO PROCEED W/ CAUTION WHEN CONSIDERING CHILDREN'S DISCOVERY CENTER.

In my experience as a parents who has had three children attend CDC, of all age levels, I wouldn't give the this childcare facility anything less than 5 stars. The owners are informative and attentive, and the teachers truely embrace the children, and do their very best to enrich the minds and hearts of each student. Given, everyone has different experiences, but through the various classrooms, as well as repeat teachers, I personally have no negative remarks to make against anyone working there. I am always making suggestions for friends and family to sign up for their children to attend. It's hard to find a place where the child earnestly comes first, but CDC hits that mark.

First of all, I rarely write reviews. But this deserved a write up: Children's Discovery Center has changed our children's lives. We have had two children at the center through the pandemic and after but the quality never has wavered. The love of the teachers in the younger ages is felt instantly, and the older classes especially the pre-K wing of the school not only prepared my oldest for Kindergarten, but helped him to soar in elementary school where he is now. We love that it's family owned and operated for generations and appreciate all the work from all the teachers. It is so important as a parent to feel like when you leave your children for the day that they are cared, taught and loved, and CDC does just that.

Their kindness, patience, and passion for teaching create an environment where children thrive. We couldn’t recommend this daycare enough—it has exceeded our expectations in every way. What a wonderful childcare facility! It truly feels like family is with your child on a daily basis. The teachers and administration are all very invested and love these kids as their own. It's also family owned and operated which makes a difference. They are very committed to development and communicating with parents. So happy we found CDC.
