Children'S Discovery Center

I have never been treated with so much disrespect as a mother until I called here. I was calling to find out if they had any openings for a 2/almost 3 yr old and what the weekly rates would be. I was blown away by the way I was treated....when the director got on the phone she seemed annoyed already when I told her I spoke with a lady there last week and she quoted me a price of $125 and I wanted to confirm this & schedule a time to come look at her center. But before I could even get to the part of scheduling a day/time the director told me the weekly rate is in fact 125, and then she asked if my boy was potty trained and I said no but we are working with him. The she told me the cost would be $5 more a week if he wasn't potty trained which was not a problem for me, until she asked me "why isn't he potty trained?" This is where the conversation went bad, I then replied that I've never been asked this question before and that this was my 1st boy, my other 2 girls had potty trained pretty quickly and I had heard from other moms that sometimes boys can take a little longer potty training. It was the way she responded that blew my mind, she said to me that they prefer their kids to be potty trained there and basically hung up on me. It was as if she didn't even want to give me a chance, but the odd thing was she quoted me a weekly rate for children that were not potty trained. Apparently there must be something wrong with myself or my child because that's how she left me feeling when she hung up! I am not one to normally leave a review like this, or even reviews at all but this was CRAZY! How could you own a childcare center and not only turn away a potential customer but also make a mother feel like she's doing something wrong! I have my 21 year old and 7 year old daughter's whom have both been through daycare growing up and have NEVER been treated so disrespectfully...I would NOT recommend this place!

I do not recommend sending your child to this daycare. They are the most judgmental, harsh, disrespectful, inconsiderate, and rudest ladies that I’ve ever experienced in childcare. My child went here for two months, and from the beginning I knew they’re would be problems. I am a picky mother, but I believe all mothers want to feel comfortable when leaving their child with someone else. They’re schedule is very inconsistent, gave meals at whatever time they felt, so who knows what days my daughter ate breakfast or starved til lunch, communication was not there. Everyday my child’s father would pick her up, and they would not even acknowledge that he came through the door. My daughter would come home everyday and I’d ask her if they’d went outside, majority of the time I would hear “it was too sunny”, which is ridiculous in my opinion. These people claim that they are “structured”, but I believe they are the complete opposite. There also was multiple other issues.
