I cannot recommend The Children's Center of New Milford highly enough! From the moment we enrolled our infant, it was clear that the staff truly cares and loves each child as if they were their own. Their programs are filled with engaging activities that promote growth and development, from music to art & crafts, and so much more. They’ve made every milestone transition, like moving from bottles to sippy cups, so smooth and stress-free for us as parents. What really sets this center apart is how integrated they are within the community. They truly live by the idea that it takes a village to raise a child. The Children's Center is that village every parent dreams of: supportive, loving, and committed to the well-being and growth of each little one. I am so grateful for the excellent care my child has received here.

If you're looking for a nearly all-inclusive, educational, fun, attentive, AFFORDABLE, accredited center for your child, look no further than the Children's Center of Greater New Milford! The playgrounds are incredibly whimsical; the tall trees provide shade and a noticeable temperature change even on the hottest of days. There are fun activities happening all of the time and regular field trips for the older children! A huge perk is that all food is included, and the children play a role in cooking it! CCNM also ensures that what's served meets specific nutrition requirements. This has alleviated a lot of stress ensuring my child gets enough vegetables, milk etc. On a personal note, within 1 month of being at CCNM, the infant teacher was able to identify my child's speech delay. We had suspected it, but my child's previous center stated they had no concerns. Feeling validated, we scheduled a Birth to Three evaluation; lo and behold my child does have a confirmed speech delay! Since joining, my child has grown leaps and bounds! He's learned so much and I truly credit 90% of his growth to be directly from his extraordinary teachers. TLDR; the passion the teachers and director have for these children is tangible. This is not a corporate, cold, daycare. The Children's Center of Greater New Milford is a powerful environment carefully curated to keep children happy, healthy, and thriving! I cannot say enough good things about this school. CCNM has exceeded my expectations and I’m so grateful everyday that my daughter is a part of this program! Between the teachers, staff, cleanliness, homemade food, communication, affordability, and curriculum we could not be happier.

As a parent, you wish for nothing but the best for your child. You share excitement and anticipation for their achievements and milestones as they grow. As the time drew near for my daughter to turn her tassle at The Children’s Center, that excitement, that anticipation was present, but somewhat overshadowed by somberness. Knowing she would be moving on as she enters kindergarten the following fall, brought to light that she would no longer be associated with the children’s center. No longer associated with those teachers, those administrators, those who became family to my daughter. And family is what it was. My daughter loved “school” loved her teachers. Loved the children’s center. From the infant room right on up to her last day, the staff not only cared for my daughter, but taught her about so many different aspects of life, school, social interaction, the list goes on and on. Add in all the different experiences that were had, made for a wonderful, safe environment for my child. A few weeks have past since my daughters last day at the children’s center, and a tearful last day it was. My five year old was very upset knowing she would not be returning. As humbling as that is, it just goes to show the connection made between the children and the teachers, the admins, the family created within those walls. I cannot express how appreciative I am to all those that impacted her daily life. That being said, The Children’s Center, cannot be recommend highly enough. They exceed expectations of a pre-school. If you have the chance to enroll your child, don’t let that opportunity pass by.
