"Oh yes but now it's a completely wonderful place and everyone in the neighborhood loves it and swears by it...", according to my bff who actually attended this school in the 80s. This was a time of coming of age and this charming day care served as a hub of activity in the neighborhood even back then. My bff continues, "it's come a long way since being the subject of slanderous lawsuits accusing it of subjecting some of it's children to satanic ritualistic abuse further spread by the lies of WWL-TV reporter Bill Elder" (not even worth the watch on youtube). To which I replied, looks like a charming place and if I actually lived here you know I'd live by you and would be more than happy to send my babies here. New Owners, new attitude. Water under the bridge. For me the best part is its proximity to Grace King High School, home of my favorite local celeb, Ellen Degeneres (see my other review!) <3 <3 <3

Our daughter has attended Carousel Preschool from 8 weeks old and will leave this fall to attend a local advanced academy. We have been beyond pleased with the education she has received while at this school. At just over 4 years old, she can write her name, count to 20, knows all of her letters and sounds, and recognizes some words. Besides academics, her teachers have always been very attentive and nurturing. They took great care of her through some serious medical issues. Never have I had to worry about her safety or well-being while I was at work. I would highly recommend Carousel Preschool for any child.

This place is amazing! I am continually surprised by the staff. They provide a level of care that is directed toward my child. I especially love how they have cameras in each classroom. This is a comfort as a parent because I know they are monitoring my child (and the teachers) and they can investigate should any incident ever occur. The people that work as administrators are fabulous. They go out of their way to accommodate every request I have. They even called me after hours to discuss my individual requests for my child. I certainly was not expecting that level of commitment because I know that they did not HAVE to change anything for me, but they did. The owner is great and is a wealth of knowledge. He has owned Children's Carousel for over 20 years. Children's Carousel was highly recommended by several local companies as well as several parents. My child and future children will go here until they graduate.

I absolutely LOVE Carousel Preschool! As a former parent of a child who attended, I always felt at ease knowing my child was safe and being well taken care of. Her teachers were amazing and she still talks about her time there! This is a wonderful school who not only listens to parents’ concerns but also takes pride in the education they are providing. ❤️
