The CDC as a whole is a great environment for your kiddos as it is warm, fun, safe and clean but let me explain it would not be possible with out Kristen Tipswood. Kristen truly goes above and beyond to provide the best possible services for families, quality of care, communicates effectively, and has an amazing compassionate personality! I am truly greatful and would recommend highly on placing your children here!!

I could not say enough good things about the Forest CDC. Kristen is the best director, she knows all of the kids and they all trust her. Her staff clearly loves all the kids too and they are always keeping the kids busy with projects or playtime. There is no doubt thay my 4 year old will be ready for preschool in the fall. I'm so happy we found this daycare.

To be able to drop your child off for the day and have peace of mind knowing they are in a safe, clean, and friendly environment is every parents dream. Forest CDC has exceeded all my expectations and they go above and beyond to meet my child’s need on a day to day basis. From endless art activities to scavenger hunts outside I know my child is having a fun filled active day and it’s nothing but smiles come pick up time. Would highly recommend this center to any parent seeking short or long term care.

We’re new to forest cdc both as a parent and an employee and I must say I would highly recommend. My daughter absolutely loves coming here in the school age room. We are looking forward to the school camp this summer and also adding my baby to the infant room in the fall. It makes me feel good knowing that my children are safe and secure behind locked doors that u need a code to enter and they are on top of who can and can’t pick up children.

I made the decision to enroll both of my babies here at the Comstock CDC, unfortunately this turned out to be a nightmare of a childcare facility. I was a nursing mother, and when I picked my girls up I would nurse them right away. I would find a place to sit and feed my children. I was asked multiple times to cover up by staff and or to go to a room that nobody could see. They had no respect for my girls or for a nursing mother. They did not seize to stop the harassment. They placed written notices on each cubby to mothers stating that” If you’re a nursing mother they needed to be coved or to find a private location to nurse”. This notice alone is an infringement of a mother’s rights to freely nurse. I decided to report them to the ACLU as they continued to infringe on me and, my children. The ACLU did reprimanded them, however the center’s director and staff did not remedy the situation, change their policies or behavior. I did remove ourselves from this site due to this discrimination and lack of accountability and respect from the director and staff. If you’re a nursing mother and want a safe and supportive environment for both your child/ren and yourself then I would highly encourage you to seek other childcare options. This place is not the place to be or worth the hassle.
