My wife and I love Chesterbrook Academy Oswego! The staff and teacher are always friendly and are great with the kids. We've seen great growth in our little one since she started going here. From the first time we dropped off our 6 month old, the staff and teachers did a great job of easing our fears and worries by sending photos and status updates. To this day, I enjoy the little photos they take along the day. Our little one loves going each day. She is making friends and learning and it is all because of the wonderful people at Chesterbrook.
As a parent, I absolutely love Chesterbrook Academy. The teachers are great and I really appreciate them all. My daughter is three months old and this month she will be leaving due to personal reasons. I highly recommend this school. It's a great environment and they really do interact with your kids! It's more like a school than a daycare!
We have a 2 year old in the Beginners classroom. Every day we see new skills, new words from our child and I know we owe much of that to Chesterbrook. The teachers are attentive, knowledgable and experienced. Even the support staff know our child which just makes me feel at ease - I know they are in good care. Not to mention the app that gives me visibility into her day via photos, daily food reports, diaper changes, etc. The curriculum and daily schedule are easy to follow - and it helps that parents get a copy of the curriculum so that the classroom learnings can extend to home. I cannot wait to see what the next few years bring.
Great place to have your kids learn! Here's why it doesn't get a five star: At least once a month their phones go down and every other month the power goes out. The building is not more than 6 years old and no other neighboring businesses are affected just chesterbrook. I don't know the reason why but it happens frequently. Other then that the school is great, My son loves it and the teachers are great, they care and they want what's best for my kid. The atmosphere is wonderful, every time I am there I want to sit down with them! Some times they even have pet shows! The price is what it is but in the end it's worth it. Thanks again Chesterbrook.
I love this environment! It has been about a year since my little one started and while the beginning transition was rough, the staff made it as seamless as possible. By week 4, there were no more tears, just happiness at being able to go to school and the hands on activities with interactive play and mandatory outdoor time has made the growth of my child in all facets remarkable. I looked at several institutions in the area and this was the only one where I felt the kids were loved and cared for in addition to the hands on teaching being technology free! There is an app which will communicate the days events to you so the teachers aren't tech free, but the curriculum is, which was important to me. The basics will always begin at home: please, thank you, your welcome, excuse me. But they reinforce this and help with potty training and socialization. I highly recommend!
