We have 3 kids that attend COA Oswego and I can’t say enough good things about them! The entire staff, management included, is top notch. Everyone is so warm and friendly. They truly make you feel like you are party of a family there. Our oldest has been attending for about 6 years and out of all of the teachers he has had, Mr Jeremiah is hands down the best! You can tell how passionate he is about what he does and the kids he works with. My son has loved many of his teachers he has had over the years, but nothing compares to the love and respect he has for Mr Jeremiah and the bond they share. We look forward to our two younger kids building on their bond they have with him as well once they are old enough to be in his class! We moved out of the area a few years ago but decided to endure the longer commute to stay at COA Oswego for many reasons, the #1 reason being Mr Jeremiah. I have recommended COA Oswego to many friends and will continue to do so!
When my daughter enrolled at COA last September, I truly didn’t know what to expect—but from day one, the director, Karla, went above and beyond in ways I will always be grateful for. She was incredibly accommodating, compassionate, and understanding, especially considering my daughter’s medical needs. With a doctor’s note, my daughter was allowed to eat breakfast or lunch whenever she needed, and whenever she felt scared, sad, or overwhelmed, Karla always made sure she felt safe and comforted. She even allowed one-on-one time when my daughter needed it most. Karla consistently made my daughter feel comfortable and secure, even allowing her to switch classes simply because she wanted a different teacher—something that meant the world to her. My daughter absolutely loved having Ms. Becca and Mr. Jeremiah as her teachers. On days they were away, she would be so upset, but Karla always stepped in and did everything she could to reassure her and help her feel okay. My daughter even called her “the principal,” which was the cutest thing and shows just how much trust and affection she had for her. What truly sets Karla apart is that she didn’t just look out for my child—she also looked out for me as a parent. Without going into detail, I can honestly say I’ve never met someone in a school setting who showed that level of care and support for families. That alone means more than words can express. If you are looking for a school that genuinely goes above and beyond for your child, I would absolutely recommend COA. The teachers are encouraging, involved, and truly care about the children. Seeing my daughter excited and happy to go to school was an amazing feeling. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Karla, Mr. J, Ms. Becca, and Ms. Julieta. I will always be grateful.
We’ve had such a positive experience at Children of America with our 3-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son. Our daughter transitioned here at age 2, and Ms Chelsea was incredibly patient and supportive, helping her adjust quickly. She comes home excited to share stories about new friends, fun activities, and everything she’s learned. Our son is also thriving in the infant room. The teachers (shoutout to Ms Kaylee) are warm, attentive, and caring, and the daily updates and photos give us so much peace of mind. The staff communicates well, the environment is safe and organized, and it truly feels like a nurturing place for both of our children. We highly recommend Children of America to any family looking for a reliable, caring daycare.
My nephew started at COA Oswego as a very shy and timid toddler, and now as a three-year-old, he has made a complete 360. The growth we’ve seen in him has been incredible. His confidence has blossomed, he’s more social and outgoing, and his speech has improved more than we ever expected. The teachers at COA Oswego have been patient, nurturing, and truly invested in his development. They meet him where he is, celebrate his progress, and help him feel safe and supported every single day. He walks into the building excited and leaves even happier—something we never imagined when he first started. If you’re looking for a place where children are genuinely cared for and encouraged to thrive, I cannot recommend COA Oswego enough. They have made a remarkable difference in my nephew’s life, and we are beyond grateful.
I recently visited COA Oswego and was extremely impressed with what I observed. The director, Karla, was warm, professional, and very relatable. The building was clean and well organized, but what stood out most was how happy and engaged the children were. The teachers were approachable and welcoming, which truly reflects the strong leadership and positive team culture at Oswego. I would absolutely recommend this facility to any family seeking high-quality care and education for their children.
