Edit in 2024 - Some time after I wrote this review, I found out that the person who I was trying to contact wasn't returning anyone's phone call. That person was eventually let go from the position. Unfortunately for me, I had already found the help I needed elsewhere. My understanding is that they have improved the experience. I have not gone back to find out for myself. I hope your experience is better than mine and that my review helped improve how they run their services. So far my experience with Chautauqua Opportunities has not been good. I am still trying to work with them but I am finding it difficult to actually get a hold of anyone on the phone. All I get is voicemail and NO ONE RETURNS PHONE CALLS! It is very frustrating because I can't spend all day calling in the hopes of getting an actual person. This has been going on for over 7 years! You may be grant run but that is no excuse for not calling g pene back. Block some time out each day to return phone calls and make appointments with people. Better yet have someone else make appointments for the Navigators.

I have applied for help back in may of this year and I haven’t heard anything from anyone. So I say my experience is not good so far. I haven’t been able to get a hold of anyone on the phone eaither and left voice mails begging for some kind of assistance. I am a single mom who gets no help. And since I work and recently cut down to 10 hours a week, i am denied all help still !! . I am out of options.
Excellent alternative to county and state funded social services. This private and grant funded agency offers dozens of education and mentor guided programs that assist financial need and other qualifying clients in everything from healthcare insurance and mortgage refinancing to childcare and small business assistance and training...the list is almost endless. Probably Chautauqua County's top resource in both the North and South County regions
Great place if not want approved for HUD go to section 8 on 3rd street near cherry st 2nd floor for section 8
