Chappell @ Fscj North Campus

I did a tour to see if I wanted to take my kid there, and I would NEVER send my child there. Every teacher there were so unfriendly, boring, each appeared to have attitudes, I seen not one smile on any teachers face, they showed no affection towards the kids in the building, it was just not giving good energy. And the worst part about that is….I was only talking to one of the teachers but seen and picked up that bad energy from the other two that had nothing to do with the tour. The teacher that was outside with the 2 year olds had a scrunched up face as if she’d rather not be there, she wasn’t watching the 11 kids on the playground, she was just sitting there zoned out, the other teacher with the 3-5 year olds just had this dead energy vibe about her as if she didn’t have this positive, uplifting, loving, personality…. And it was only 10am…the beginning of the freaking day….And our tour teacher was just emotionless , ever since we walked through the door, she never greeted my kids or shared a smile with them , she didn’t even look at them or try to be friendly with them, she didn’t try to “off-rip” make that little friendly smiley connection people usually do when they first or meet a kid, I mean it’s all about making the kids comfortable correct? RIGHT! but that never happened at all, even talking to us during the tour she just had this strong serious look on her face that didn’t feel welcoming, she didn’t make me as a parent feel comfortable or relieved to have my child there in their care, nothing about that place felt comfortable, to much seriousness and not enough affection and loving vibes in there. If I’m going to be honest , what I’ve seen just in that 10 minute tour would make me fear having my child there and wonder what their reaction would be if my child acted up even a little bit . I just would never recommend this place to anyone…ANYONE!

My 3 year old son has been going to Chappell North Campus for a little over a year now. He has transitioned from being at home full-time to this daycare very smoothly. I appreciate the care we get from the teachers, volunteers and director on a daily basis. Everyday we are greeted from the moment we step into the facility. My son looks forward to daycare everyday and has even become potty trained (at 2 years old) through the daily help and positive encouragement of his teachers. I chose this daycare because it is clean, has fun daily activities for the kids, family events and is AFFORDABLE. I would recommend Chappell to anyone who needs care for their young children.

Staff are patient and kind, facility is clean and spacious. We have live video access to each of their classrooms and play grounds. Meals, potties and naps are noted in the app, and pictures are posted multiple times daily. My 2 children are learning and meeting all of their developmental milestones and beyond. I’ve seen tremendous improvements in my 3yo’s social skills, and overall fundamentals that she will need to start Pre-k. My 18mo is speaking words clearly, counting and saying alphabet, and singing full songs as well as following directions. They’re both blossoming academically and socially. This campus is close to my home, and very convenient. This is definitely a child focused, closely monitored and caring environment for our children.

I must say that Chappell North is a great school. My child started there at 3 yo and my youngest at 1 yo. Since my middle child is in KG, I see the efforts that went into her education. All the kids that graduated from Chappell with her are top of the class. They went in knowing shapes, colors, sight words, names, parents names, numbers and more. They are far ahead of their classmates and each of them have been tested for the gifted program. Chappell was not only a convenient choice but the best choice. This facility has become like family in just a short 6 months. I love the care and education they pour into my daughter. They send pictures and let me know how she's doing throughout the day which is reassuring for this helicopter momma. They also made a shadow box of my sweet baby boy when he passed away during his nap at home. They loved both my kiddos from the day I walked in the door and helped us get through a tough transition from primarily staying at home to getting back into the workforce which was tough on my littles. I highly suggest this facility to anyone considering, my daughter is beyond ready for vpk, doing math problems, learning about syllables, reading, and learning to tell time (she just turned 4 🤯) truly impressed and relieved how much they want her to succeed.
