This business is shady. The wait list is bogus and non-existent. Failure in leadership and list management. They only take families they like or know. We have had a child on the wait list for 6 year. I know many family that have applied after us and gotten their first child in. We have called several times over the years and have been told they lost the list, they did not see that name on the list, they lost their PC and lost the list. I'm not sure if it's malicious behavior or gross incompetence. From what I hear if you are prestigious enough to get your child in, the actual School itself is pretty good.
