I have only ever taken my children to this daycare. My youngest was only a baby when he first started going here. I have nothing but great experiences here. My children still go here and recieves afterschool/ summer program. Everybody is very very friendly here. Miss mary is very sweet and works with parents who may be stuggling at the time. Staff are all very friendly and are very very sweet to the children there. My children love going there and love their teachers there. They have a preschool graduation they do every year for the children that are going to kindergarten and its real cute and adorable the job they do. Miss mary and her staff listen to anytime i had an issue or just needed to vent. They are very caring and loving towards the children which is amazing and its an added bonus that they care about the parents as well.when any of the staff see me outside the facility they are always so polite and smiling and always ask how my children are doing. I am glad i chose this daycare for my children because i honestly have nothing but great things to say. I can keep going on all my experiences but ill just leave it at this... i highly recommend this place and have recommended this place to anybody that is seeking childcare.
I understand if you have no where else to put your child and you choose this place. This was the case for me and my baby. Please keep looking and find somewhere else if you can. I had a long list of issues while having my child there and this is just for the infant room. I WALKED IN AND SAW MY CHILD LAYING ON THE FLOOR WITH HER PANTS DOWN! When I asked why, the teacher then picked my child up and took her to the changing table saying they were changing her. This is a serious issue but when I brought this to the attention of management they brushed it off and would not check the cameras to make sure the situation was what they said. And when I asked about checking the cameras the manager suggested I just pull my child out of the daycare since I was so unhappy with them. So, I did. Here’s other issues I encountered with them. Teachers seem incompetent. Spilled milk because the top wasn’t on the bottle properly(breast milk) Put clothes on my daughter that did not belong to her then said my memory was bad when I mentioned those weren’t her clothes. Transported another child in my child’s car seat. Put poop covered clothes in my child’s bag with nothing covering them. Found that my child's diaper was not fastened properly which caused my child clothes to be wet from the leak. I honestly think they just have the babies lying on the floor on boppies all day. I rarely ever saw any real engagement going on between the staff and the babies.
One of the worst places I've ever been to a swim meet. No parking, meet started 30 min late due to incompetence. 4 events completed in an hour. Then a 30 minute delay for thunderstorms. Its an indoor event and we get a rain delay. While we are in a building where the AC is broke and it's 120 degrees. The intercom system sounds like a special ed kid took over for Charlie browns teacher. It's like they put Joe Biden in charge of a swim meet but there's no ice cream to be found anywhere
The CYC is an old building and they do not receive the help or the pat on the back they deserve as a whole. It is never ok to be rude and if that did happen I can not review that but that's no good. However, what I have witnessed is the amount of kids off the streets being cared for, being taught life lessons, and having a opportunity to play with other children in a safe alcohol and drug free environment. The CYC has done lots for the community and the families in it. I am small business owner and I can tell you Good help is hard to find anymore so please be understanding as the 2 directors work around the clock to ensure the KIDS have what they need. You would rather have this place around then not they are a savior to the city. Big shout out to Mark and Ryan they both have patience like saints 😇. Thank You CYC for all that you do with very little!!!
We go to this facility for the NEPAGSL championships and this year it was absolutely disgusting!! The bathroom garbages were overflowing and absolutely filthy. The smell was overwhelming. The air circulation vents were broken and several patrons complained. When addressing it with staff we were told "too bad. Welcome to CYC!" Absolutely disappointing! I would give zero stars if I could!
