My family moved to Anderson about 2 years ago from Oregon and was lead to Carpenter's Church. We were really reluctant to join a church, but there was something different about Carpenters church right away. There was a peace from the moment I stepped in. The people were very kind and definitely had the presence of God with them. My family was immediately accepted with open arms and was embraced by the people there. I'm not exactly the most friendliest person, but was blown away by thier generosity.Thier love towards people has renewed by love towards people. It's beautiful! I can honestly say that because of them and though the Holy spirit that I have received the love of the brethen. I really, really love that the Pastor is a man of prayer and prays for you and with you. I pray that whoever is reading this will discover that kind of love here too!! ❤️
The Carpenter’s Church has a very welcoming and loving environment.The Worship band is amazing; very talented! Pastor has a great personality. His humor often livens up his sermons! He is always open to explaining and clarifying things. He and his lovely wife are always ready to listen and nourish the soul. They’re truly wonderful. ❤️
Second time at the church. The pastor was gone on mission. The guest speaker was a woman teaching on the Holy Spirit. I was uncertain if she was giving testimony or teaching. She had a good message, but her message seemed questionable at times. If she going to teach, she should use the word of God to support her message. She did speak from the heart. The church over all is very friendly and welcoming family.
This is a wonderful church. We are very friendly and authentic. We help missionaries over seas and belief in an interracial congregation. We have wonderful music with a band. It is come as you are : dress and /or casual etc.
