The communication between teachers and parents are unlike other daycare we've experienced. My son enjoys their STEM activities, and we like the cameras and the updates with pictures we get. They serve healthy food and they are constantly active. Teachers are loving.

My daughter has gone to Carpe Diem in Allen since she was 3 years old & is now 9. She learned so much & grew with the staff and kids here. Carpe Diem was like a second family to us and we loved her being there!

It took me a while to post this after leaving this school, but I really don’t understand how parents drop their kids off and not feel like something is off. It’s a lot, so hang on to your seat. To begin, when I toured the school, I was sold a dream. Music class, gym class, curriculum, outdoor play rain or shine.. loved everything I was hearing.. The place was so disorganized. I was told the curriculum would start within 2-3 weeks. I let the time pass and asked if it had started and I couldn’t get a straight answer. It’s the biggest JOKE that they make kids wear a uniform and call theirselves “private preschool”. I would watch the kids on the camera consistently and there was never any type of structure going on. The kids just walked around aimlessly. When the curriculum did start it was a bunch of nonsense. And to add, the children did not have regularly scheduled activities outside the class like the music and gym class that they said would be on specific days. Day 2 of daycare the gate that leads to ALLL of the classrooms was wide open. I had to notify them that it’s open and there was full access to the classes. My child went through 4 or 5 teachers in the 2 weeks he was there. That should tell you enough. I once watched the main teacher PULL a sleep mat from under a little girl (the little girl literally rolled right off) and moved her to another area of the class, if that was my child I would’ve had some words with her. The scheduled menu changed A LOT, and the director would be the one cooking.. again, I never even saw the kitchen and the place is just completely disorganized. No one was ever in the front office, which was weird but ok whatever. Our speech therapist visited for an appointment and when she left she told me that not only did that place feel completely eerie, but that the teachers were very disorganized and one of the teachers left the classroom and left the speech therapist with all the kids while the aid was changing diapers. Speaking of eerie, the daycare has like 10 classrooms and only 2 were being used. That should’ve been my first red flag. The assistant director was great! It’s about the only positive here. I tried contacting superiors to the director but come to find out this place is a corporate owned daycare, where you will NEVER get ahold of anyone that actually cares. This is only a smaller list of all the things that went on in the 3 weeks he was there while we waited for a spot to open at our current daycare. Now that I have something to compare this school to… I am baffled that it’s still up and running.

My child loves going to school and absolutely adores his teachers. As a working mom, nothing brings me more comfort than knowing he is learning and thriving in the environment I chose for him while I'm away from him. The administration always keeps me informed of what is happening in class and always answers any questions or concerns I have in a timely manner. I can't say enough about the teachers, they truly love the children! Plus the programs they offer are top notch. My almost 3 year old has already started Spanish classes, music class, library time, and even yoga and other sporting activities. Lastly, we truly enjoy all their parties and festivals they throw so we can partake as a family with the staff and teachers. It really brings in a sense of community for us working parents to meet each other. In my mind this is the best money ever spent to invest in my child's future.

My son has grown and learned so much here. There’s a perfect balance of learning and fun. We really liked the teachers who are kind, patient, experienced, and knowledgeable. My son went here for two years and I wish he could go here longer. He has made so many wonderful friends. We also liked the curriculum and all the wonderful activities they do with the children. My son spent so much time here, it was like his second home. There’s also family school events and parents night out that add to the the wonderful school. We are so happy we picked this place. It was our best decision we made since moving to Texas.
