I am giving 2 stars because this school has so much potential. My daughter attended this school for one full year. The turn-over rate is unreal. There is zero communication when there is a new staff member. There is no introduction between the leadership to the parent about the new teacher that will be looking after your child. Again, the school has potential. The owner Ms.Eugia and regional director Mr.Ty seem to care, but the staff not so much. Ms. Allison and Ms. Kayla are very nice. Unfortunately, my daughter did not get to spend much time with either of them as her teacher. I have witnessed teachers just sitting on their phones and other times just sitting in the corner while the children have seemed to be in a disagreement. In the handbook it states there will be a speech therapist coming twice a year to evaluate, this never happened. Apparently my daughter was never eating the food.. no one felt the need to share this information with me until I asked about it. Also, the procare app is never used daily. I honestly, do not recommend enrolling your children here. They will sell you a dream.
Great learning atmosphere. The teachers and staff are super attentive. Both my children have blossomed at this center and have learned so much. I like that they attend chapel and really nurture my babies. Coming from a HORRIBLE daycare previously, I can truly say that Carol's Daughter Learning Center is a HUGE BLESSING for our family. I have COMPLETE peace of mind, leaving my children in their care because I KNOW they will look after them like they were their own. I also love how the owners take the time to get to know each parent and child and how they always have an open door policy. Placing both of our children in this center has been one of the best childcare decisions we could have ever made.
WE LOVE IT HERE. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I was a little worried about my daughter’s transition because she had literally just left another daycare, but everything went very smoothly. She already talks more, and she eats more here, too. So far, she hasn’t had a bad day here and is always eager to come in the morning time.
My toddler was checked in at 9am, bitten by another toddler on the face at 10am. At 5pm during pick up, before seeing my child’s face, we asked why aren’t they uploading pictures anymore, her response was “I be tied up watching the biter” I’m like what biter she says “ohh he bit your child today Ms. Mercedes didn’t tell you ??” My child has a big bite mark that’s red and scratches to the top of his eyelid and chin. You can tell the other child bit him very hard. This is unacceptable. Seems like they wouldn’t have even mentioned anything besides giving us a Bo-Bo report that said “the friends bumped into each other on the slide and biting took place”. NO ONE from the daycare called to tell us anything. They’ve nicknamed the child “the biter” who they say they’ve had multiple issues with … I am so disappointed, especially because my child had scratch marks from incidents with other toddlers at this daycare. You guys really dropped the ball.
My son didn’t even attend for a full month before I snatched him out. He came home one day with a knot on his head and said the teacher Kayla plucked (thumped) him. We had a meeting and my son then said it in the meeting. From then on it was down hill everytime I went to pick him up he was hurt. He would cry in the morning and say he didn’t want to go and his teacher was mean and making the kids be mean. When bought to the new directors attention he advised me the teacher said my child is a constant problem and he never heard my child speak a sentence so he doesn’t understand how my kid would have said anything like that. Meanwhile my child is very verbal and he didn’t become a constant problem until the incident where he said she hit him. It was one staff member who I felt truly cared but her hands were tied. I went in there one day got my child walked out and never looked back! Do yourself a favor find somewhere else!!
