Carolina Kids Child Development Center

My daughter has been attending this daycare since the day she met the age requirements. I have nothing but great things to say about this facility. The curriculum is great which gives me comfort in knowing that my child is being prepared for her future. The meals that the kids receive, quite honestly, are very high quality, healthy, and delicious (delicious part is according to my daughter, who at times can be picky). All the teachers seem as if they care about the children they are protecting and teaching as if they were their own which is always a great feeling to have as a parent. The staff from the teachers to the upper staff have always been very transparent about incidents, and address them in the best way that they are allowed. Just because it is a preschool doesn’t make it any different than any other school- with that being said, the teachers can’t be everywhere all at once- SO, yes things are inevitably going to happen, but once again, they are always addressed promptly and effectively. I would, will, and do recommend this facility to all parents. I would also like to add that this facility constantly has events that include parents, grandparents, families which makes it really seem like a community. I’m glad to be apart of it.

My infant has been attending here for a few weeks now after a less than stellar experience at the first daycare she attended. Bailey in the infant class is so sweet with my baby and she seems to be well cared for while she is there. I appreciate that they do not leave the babies in containers all day and actually work with them, as well as making sure my baby's diapers and wipes are used on my child as she has sensitive skin. They also have signage for parents to take their older children to their classes first, minimizing the infant's risks of illness and injuries, and I appreciate that. She takes good naps here and I don't pick up a cranky baby at the end of the day most days! We have had no diaper rashes since we changed daycares! I have noticed so many positive changes and development in my girl since she has been attending Carolina Kids. We are looking forward to our future here.

I'm just going to say, if you are thinking about enrolling your child here, absolutely do it. Our experience has been so wonderful. We had a rocky start to our daughter's daycare journey with another company, and let me tell you, Carolina Kids and all of its staff have put my mind at ease knowing my daughter is safe, learning, and taken care of. What a wonderful place full of smiling faces. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

0/10 would not recommend. Our son loved his teachers during his time at Carolina Kids, but when he became the victim of a chronic biter in his class, things weren’t handled how they should have been. The admin team didn’t genuinely listen to our concerns as parents about our child’s safety and well being. We were met with, if you aren’t okay with your child being bitten then you should probably move him elsewhere. For the record, he was bitten 10 times…plus a few additional times that weren’t reported because they didn’t see it happen.

This school is one of the best in rock hill! My daughter has thrived and each teacher she’s had thus far has been wonderful in helping her achieve milestones! Admin juggles a lot but they are still so compassionate about the care of our children and supporting the staff!
