Capstone Child Dev. Center

My children are 17, 16, 12 & 10 and all attended Capstone Child Development Center. When we were "surprised" with a daughter a year ago, there was no question where she would attend. When meeting with the staff at Capstone to register her, I knew that even after all these years, the place was still as wonderful as it was back then. I do not worry about my baby at all while she is there and have all the confidence in the world that she is taken care of as if she was the child of any employee there. When she is older, I am equally confident that she will learn, and be very prepared to start Kindergarten.

I have dealt with Capstone Child Development Center for around 10 years now. My oldest son attended from 6 weeks until Kindergarten and now I have a 4 year old and a 3 year old who attend! I absolutely would NOT have my children anywhere else! They have several teachers who have been there 10-20 years at the same center. All the teachers are so loving and caring to the children! Their pre-k program is that of a county/city school! My children touch on educational aspects as if they were in a school system! My four year old has already done 2 projects and has homework weekly. This is not just a “play all day” center. They make sure all the children are taught what is needed to be successful when starting Kindergarten! Hands down the BEST daycare center in town!

The place is nice the classrooms are big not too much but they are okay and they do activities but also not too much. The most bad experience I faced was that they’re not patient with my baby especially in the begging they are not understanding that kids are having separation anxiety and kept asking me how to calm him down

I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. This place is poorly run and unorganized. My children were withdrawn the same day. TODAY!!! The assistant director is very aggressive and loud and wrong! First of all the director quoted me a price when I called to get my girls enrolled. I arrived I filled out paperwork and was told to start them Monday. So I go in Monday afternoon to turn in paperwork and the assistant director told me she was not sure they had spots for my girls but possibly did at their other centers. So I told her no the director told me you all had spots. She said well she probably got mixed up or we could’ve had them but don’t anymore. 🤬 I say ok well there’s no reason for me to turn in the paperwork. So I get in my car frustrated and while I’m sitting there trying to regroup the director pulls up and I see this assistant lady waving for me to come back. So I walk up and she says oh yeah so we do have a spot for YOUR twins. She just told me we do have spots. So I go home and bring my babies this morning and she quotes me a totally different price. Then some other random worker tried to double that amount and the assistant once again still wrong was like oh no it’s half of that amount. 😡 So I ask for thee director she tells me oh I have not heard from her and don’t know when she will be in. So of course I did not pay anything because I wanted to speak to the director. So I go home and all day I’m flustered. I go pick my children up and she meets me at the door with oh yeah it is the price you said earlier. At that time I had already made up my mind they wouldn’t return. I get home and one of my daughters smells of urine. I look in her bag and see all of the pull ups I put in the bag earlier. I told them before enrolling that she would have to wear a pull up at nap time. They didn’t put one on her. I picked them up around 3:00 pm nap time was from 12-2 so for God knows how long my child is walking around with clothes she has urinated in. So I call and all I got was a very unconcerned I’m sorry. I wouldn’t recommend these people to my worst enemy or even a dog. How dare you all try to scam people out of money force cash payments and not tend to their children!! I should’ve known from the screams of the two children that were being dropped off that they were not it. The little boy screamed so loud that he was scared and guess who was taking him to the back the famous assistant who doesn’t smile nor greet you with as much as a simple hello and her phone presence is even horrific. I would give zero stars but that wasn’t an option!!! Totally disgusted and traumatized I don’t even want to send my kids anywhere in this town at this point I’m scared!!

I couldnt ask for a better childcare center for both my children. It feels good to not have to worry about your children when you are at work. Mrs. Edie, Ms. Nesia and staff are great! Not to mention when my oldest child began pre k she was ahead of others and I know the Capstone staff had something to do with it.
