Canterbury Academy At Prairie Ridge

After having a horrendous experience at another local daycare center we were very nervous to try another one but it turns out we had nothing to fear in choosing Canterbury. Ms. Christi, Ms. Julie and all of the teachers are excellent. They are friendly, approachable and professional. It’s incredible how much my daughter has learned since starting here. She's excited to go to school each day and wishes we could give them “600 stars” because 5 is not enough.

I toured a lot of daycares before settling with Canterbury and it was a complete no-brainer! The staff is incredible, so caring and kind and patient, there's not a TV in the place that I've ever seen! My toddler comes home in a good mood everyday and she's so excited to go every morning.

Canterbury has been a total godsend for our family. We’ve been with them for almost 3 years now, and throughout that time, we’ve faced our share of challenges, particularly around some behavioral issues. Through every step of the journey, including a few ‘crazy mom moments,’ the directors and staff have been incredibly supportive and understanding. They worked closely, helping us find outside resources and always accommodating our requests without judgment. They also went above and beyond by working with me to track behaviors and even creating new tools to help teachers record what was happening when issues arose. The communication has always been open, transparent, and solution-focused. The difference we’ve seen in our son is remarkable- from a child who used to cry ever time we dropped him off, to one who now runs into daycare excited every morning. This transformation is a direct result of care, interest, and dedication the directors and teachers show to each child, fostering an environment where learning and growth can thrive. We’re so grateful for everything Canterbury has done for our family! PS my son also wants everyone to know the playground is his favorite!

My daughter (2 years old) has been home with me since she was born. I was very nervous about going back to work and enrolling her into childcare. The staff at Canterbury made the enrollment process and transition extremely easy for our family. They provided us with great support as we helped to ease our daughter into a new environment. We love the daily communication, which helps us to see how her day is going. The staff is incredibly welcoming and quick to accommodate the needs of the children in the building. We are very grateful for the loving community Canterbury has created for these young children. We would highly recommend Canterbury to our friends and neighbors!

We have had both of our kids go to Canterbury Prairie Ridge and it has been a wonderful experience. Both of our kids love it. They are wonderful in communication, great learning activities, and keep a safe environment. The teachers are nice and personable too, especially the Europe classroom.
