Little Treasures Learning Center

Been attending for the past few years and I Honestly can’t put my finger on it, why I feel so spiritually disconnected over the past 3 months. My family has gone to church consistently for about 3 years now, but I recently have been noticing the music. Although the music is good, I wish there was more variety because the Same songs are being over played. Also since the new renovations within the church, the sound system is very clear but very loud no matter where you sit. My kids have always loved going to church having a family donut breakfast before their classes, and now since they’ve taken away serving donuts, kinda takes away from us being able to sit down together. I’m not sure why that got taken away. One of my kids has also been telling me on and off for a while that whenever there’s behavior issues within the kids class, they aren’t correcting the behaviors, and they just let the kids do whatever they want and makes my kid feel some type of way. I wish 4th and 5th grade were included in a Wednesday evening kids activities I’m not sure why that hasn’t ever changed. I think overall I’m just a little disappointed with the lack of volunteers to help with the kids program, it just seems like that area is understaffed, given the actual size of this church. I would really like to see a better turnover of volunteers and teachers. I think one of my biggest concerns as of recently, is the overuse of social media within the church. I understand a lot of churches want to update and modernize the conveniences of technology, but I think because there’s so much advancement that is constantly changing, I feel like there should be healthy boundaries of making a church feel like a church, and not a corporate party house. Hope Chapel, simply doesn’t feel like a sanctified “Chapel” or church. It just doesn’t. It just feels very big and showy.

I'm a regular at the church, and I have seen a community be built, and long-lasting relationships sparked. If you're looking for a Christ-centered, family-friendly church, then I would strongly recommend Hope Chapel! Going through its doors, I constantly have a sense of belonging, and it has truly helped me grow in my faith. I'm incredibly blessed to be a part of the Hope Chapel family!

I've been a part of Hope Chapel for over a year now and I love it. I attend the Spanish service with my husband. We both enjoy serving. I'm grateful for the friends that I've made, our community groups and classes offered.

I have been attending Hope Chapel for the last 3 years and recently a new member has been allowed to express hatred towards jews, blacks, different political views as well as go out into the public and harass the Olathe community and surrounding area. Pastor Brent of Hope Chapel is fully aware of this however upon meeting with him, he was more concerned about not hurting the feelings of this hateful individual and has refused to outwardly speak against racist behavior. This is a huge disappointment to see a leader of the church attempt to silence the victims of racism and encourage others to do so as well. Being more concerned that the issue remain a secret is complacency and the reason racism will not go away even in the church.

Pastor is really good. It's easy to listen and understand what he's saying. Very fun church with a very great group of good people
