CES is an enchanting place! Whenever I drop off my son in his classroom, I wish I could be a child at CES. The classrooms are so beautifully designed and enticing. You will see when you visit! Most importantly however, the teachers are all so warm and loving. They support the kids while helping them develop independence and confidence. It's an ideal place for your child to start out in a school environment.
Cambridge-Ellis is magical! Teachers are incredibly intentional about everything they do, beginning with the home-school transition at the beginning of the year. They set children up for success from the start. Our son is known for who he is and supported in every area of his development. Communication is outstanding, especially related to students' progress. Community is very important at CES, and there are many ways to be involved and engaged. Caregivers are welcome in the classroom to share meaningful traditions or celebrate birthdays. Our son has thrived in his first school experience at CES - he is so happy at the end of each day and is rarely ready to leave! We are so happy that we joined the CES family!
Our son joined the Orange Room in November, and he has been genuinely happy from day one. His transition was incredibly smooth — he felt emotionally secure right away and quickly developed a strong connection with his teachers. Christina, Claudia, Wendy, and Maya have all been so warm, patient, and caring with him, and the floating teachers who work with the Orange Room have also made him feel supported and welcomed. We have also seen remarkable growth in his language development, which reflects how much meaningful interaction and intentional support he receives from his teachers every day. What has surprised us most is that his sense of comfort extends beyond his own classroom. He absolutely adores Qiaoling from the Red Room, Katie from assembly, Michelle in the office, and even Andy in finance — it truly shows how deeply connected and nurturing this entire community is. Bekah and Christina have also provided tremendous support to our whole family, for which we are very grateful. The greatest strength of Cambridge-Ellis is its people — the teachers, the staff, and the warm community they create every day. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of CES.
We have been a part of the CES community for the last three years and it is hard to imagine a better place for our family. Our eldest (6yo) has thrived in the afterschool mandarin program where, under the loving care of his teachers, he has joyfully improved his mandarin skills, learned chinese culture, and transformed into a social powerhouse. He looks forward to his time with his friends and teachers and negotiates every day to stay a little longer. Our younger (4yo) is now joined his brother at CES - also in the mandarin program. He has made friends and his language acquisition is accelerating at a phenomenal rate. He enjoys all the activities and games in the ever-changing curriculum. The teachers love him, and he reciprocates openly. The faculty and staff are more than we realized when we joined the CES community. Not just professional, excellent teachers, but some of the most genuinely considerate, caring, and helpful people we know. We were looking for an afterschool mandarin program when we stumbled upon CES. What we found was a second home.
I couldn't imagine a better place for my children to begin their schooling journey than Cambridge Ellis. Every classroom seems to have at least one teacher who has been there 10+ years, and many for a lot longer. This has always struck me as an exceptional and unique aspect of the school that's at the heart of why students feel so well supported, loved, and seen. CES genuinely fosters a love of learning by offering students a creative, deeply caring, and curiosity-driven environment in which to grow, challenge themselves, and discover the world around them. Plus, they have their own fantastic playground right on site, so children get to spend tons of time outdoors in all four seasons! My kids go to school joyful and often ask us to delay pickup so they can stay there even longer.
