We absolutely love Pleasantime!! Jackie and Jazmyn were so amazing and SO accommodating in helping to get our daughter established at a new daycare. They are on top of it! And Tina, the infant room teacher, is a true baby whisperer! Every other teacher I have come into contact with has been so friendly. We have complete trust and confidence that our daughter is getting great care at Pleasantime.
My family is so grateful for the educational and supportive care that our kids receive at Pleasantime. It is very apparent that Jackie and her team are dedicated to kids and their wellbeing. They have fun, yet instructional activities that create wonderful memories for the children. My kids love it there.
Pleasantime teachers and staff are very nice and sweet. Although the curriculum and how they run the center, we were not a fan of. They only learn through play which everyday is “free play”. I would consider them more as a babysitting service rather a childcare. Parents supply their own lunches and the snacks are supplied by the childcare which the snacks are very small and not ideal. The price for tuitions is pricey for what they offer. Our child didn’t learn hardly anything (how to write his name, use scissors, etc. of all the basics). They continued to teach letters and numbers for the 2-3 years our child attended which he had known since he was 1 or 2 years old. For the price parents pay, I think they need to teach kids more and not just free play all day everyday. Books are occasionally read but that was mostly in the 2-3 year old class. We were very disappointed with the service we were given. The only thing we really enjoyed were the teachers/staff. We hope they improve their way of running the facility or lower prices for future families. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re a parent wanting your child to learn rather than be babysat and free play all day. If any other parent sees this and agrees, please make a comment or address it to hopefully make it a more enjoyable place for future families.
