Both of my daughters go here and love it. I love that the school sends pictures throughout the day, it is the highlight of my work day. They do tons of activities with the kids. My favorite part of this place is the staff. They really love the kids, and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. My oldest is always excitingly telling me about all the fun things they did in school, and her teachers! I feel so comfortable and safe sending my kids here everyday.

Today was my daughters first day and I’m very impressed I must say. First I want to say Craig (principal) seems to truly enjoy what he does as well as the staff I’ve met and I love that so much. Second.. I get a great happy vibe every time I’ve been here! Nothing is worse then dropping your kiddo off to people who are miserable to be at work. Third .. they let me stay as long as I needed to ensure my daughter was comfortable and happy on her first day. Not many centers do that as they want you to “drop and go” so I appreciated that because my little one was very nervous. Fourth.. I received pics of my child smiling before I could even worry lol. Fifth when I got there my child was so so happy and told me she had a great time and she wanted to stay forever. All this being said... I am happy we found this place and I don’t mind paying them! :)

I actually attended this daycare when they first open years ago in school age. I felt as if it was the obvious choice for a daycare for my 18 month old son since it was also 2 minutes from our home. He originally really enjoyed it, and besides the harsh chemical and dirty diaper smell it wasn't actually too bad to start out. Fast forward to about 2 1/2 - 3, and everything began to go down hill. A child was biting my son, the first 1-2 times I wasn't notified, I just found bite marks on my son. Shortly after they began letting me know. This happened about 5-6 times, the child was biting other children as well (we were informed by this teacher of this) and it was not something that was going to end. I had reached out to the director regarding this multiple times, and was told my son couldn't switch classes yet because of space/teachers, etc. At one point my son was bit so hard it began to break the skin. I also requested a receipt every time a check of mine was cashed. I paid on a Friday and the checks were never cashed later than the following Monday, yet the director would never send me a receipt. I needed to reach out to him 2-3 times EVERY time in order to receive it. This is something that shouldn't be as requested but a requirement. On top of this, they "accidentally" began charging me $30 more a week!! The director had met me 2-3 billing statements reflecting the higher amount and did not correct it until I reached out to him. Showing that he clearly did not proof read anything. Also, his teachers didn't seem to care one but about anything. I would drop my son off in the morning, the teachers wouldn't say hi, on multiple occasions they would be chewing, mouth wide open, talking to me with a full mouth. I was so disgusted, and everyone is extremely unprofessional. The most eye opening part was when the director just didn't show up one day, and told us the next time I spoke with him that "he deserves" to just not come into work once in a while. I immediately began searching for another daycare. I found the Goddard School & I am SO thankful that I didn't wait any longer to switch. They provide much healthier snacks, teach my son much more and the teachers genuinely care about him. I highly suggest not sending your child here unless you just don't care about them.

Both of our boys have been with Chesterbrook since they were 6 weeks old (now 3.5 and 2). The admin staff has been awesome and the teachers are amazing; Ms Allison, Ms Jami, Ms Dawn, Ms Hannah, Ms Christina, Ms Kristin, Ms Melanie, Ms Kathy, Ms Tiffanie, Mr. Andrew, Ms Brenda, Ms Gillian, Ms Liz..just to name a few! If we are ever challenged with a toddler aged issue at home, we communicate it to the teachers and they've always come up with a creative way to help (ie potty training, nap issues, fear of dentist, etc). I can also see a major difference in their educational level compared to others at other daycares. And most importantly, both boys LOVE going to school and take to the teachers at drop off like they would their own aunts/uncles. That alone speaks volumes and tells me both boys are loved beyond measure!

my daughter has been there going on 4 months and has learned so much. They keep me updated and send pictures through out the day. Everyday I drop my daughter off she’s so excited to go inside. Definitely recommended.
