Calvary Christian Preschool

After learning how to drive in the parking lot of this church years ago, I finally decided to visit this church with my young daughter, Alana. I sat in the back, with my daughter in a stroller next to me. My child is 3, so yes I understand she is disruptive, try having social anxiety and a hyperactive child, it isn't easy. I was trying my best to settle her down from giving her my phone (on silent), giving her hair clips from my purse, some pen and paper, and lastly, even trying to get her attention by showing her the butterfly tattoo on the back of my arm. A man then asked us to leave the sanctuary because my daughter was being too disruptive, and I left. Maybe I wouldn't have taken this offense so personally, but from having constant rejection and getting constant judgement from the world for being a young mother, it hurt me. I've gone to multiple churches and I can't beat that sense of rejection from the people there so I have kept my distance from church. I have a saddening pain that sits on my chest everyday and nothing has been able to heal that pain. So when I make the effort to return to church and reconnect, to be rejected yet again, hurt. I'm not judging the entire church based on that one person, but I do advise to be mindful before showing a clearly struggling person cruelty. Because I didn't go to church to "hang out" or just because, I went because I was looking for healing, and obviously being a mother I had nowhere to leave my daughter, so I took her with me. However, I extend gratitude and love for the couple that saw this and followed me to my car, and asked me not to leave. Because of people like them, I still believe there is good in the world, and I try everyday to put good out into the world even if it isn't shown back to me.

Came as a guest when I was in Simpsonville visiting my mother. The desk was so helpful in getting my two very young children set up for the kids program. Everyone was exceedingly nice! The preaching was the reason we came. I love me some expository preaching. The church seems to rightly and properly teach the word and nothing but the word (though I was only there once). I also noticed they use Answers in Genesis’s VBS which is a big deal for me!! Anyone who uses answers in genesis has solid theology. Not sure if they use them for their children’s curriculum though. I already made a friend there too! I wish I had gotten her contact info but she had such a sweet family and was so welcoming!! Overall it was a great experience at this church!!

Well.. the band is very impressive. The instruments have a great country tune. The violin was beautiful and the girls all sing like Disney princess (best way to describe them). I came as a guest and was truly impressed

My daughter has attended 3k since august of 2020 and we have had such a wonderful experience. Not only does she come home learning new things every school day, the teachers love them like they are their own children. They communicate wonderfully with parents and we always know what they are learning each day & week!
