This place is awesome. It’s a very organized system. My child had never been in any type of classroom setting, his babysitter only had 4 kids tops at one time so he wasn’t familiar with being around a class full of kids. I was worried because he had always played alone, even when he was with the other kids. He adapted so well from the start. He has so many friends, he has learned so much from them and his problem areas in behavior have improved so much. He’s matured a lot since being there. Thank you to that awesome staff. He will be going to public school next year into 5k but he hates leaving and I do too. I will recommend Cadence Academy, Surfside, SC, to anyone, 100%
By far the BEST daycare I’ve had my daughter in. Ms. Donna and Amanda are amazing. They truly care about the kids and the parents too. I’ve told them on numerous occasions could they just follow my girl til graduation. She loves attending school. Her teachers love her. Them embracing my child makes me love them more. And the amount she’s learned has been outstanding. This daycare is such a GODSEND!
Never logged my child. Never attended to his medical conditions. Got bitten about 6-7 times by the same student never tried to resolve them. Teachers act like they could give less of a care to be there. (1-2) class can't speak for them all. Instead of logging into the app like they are paid to do, they taped a sticky note onto my son's back with a girls shirt on saying he needed diapers instead of just logging it into the app. They mass log every kids meal so if you think your kid is eating they probably aren't. Floors are disgusting mind you. Every time I picked my son up he was missing a shoe with a completely coated black sock. (Probably don't disinfect the toys like they should either) for 233$ a week I'd expect some type of care but it was a nightmare from day one. I have a total of 12 incident reports that I got copies of. Mind you I was shorted 4 of the bite reports probably to cover their butt but l will be getting those. LOOK ELSEWHERE PLS. For your sanity and safety of your child. Not a day went by that I was worrying if something was going to happen to my child that day.
Abby and Ella are the absolute best there! We are so sad to be leaving their room, and wish our kiddo could stay with them.
This preschool/ day care is seriously the best!!! My husband and I really feel comfortable with our child going here. The teachers are amazing and nice. The director is always so friendly and greets us every time we come in. Since my child has started going here he has been talking so much better now and he learns so much here. Ms. Kara is my sons teacher and I couldn't be any happier. They also have an app. you can download on your phone and see what your child has done for that day and when they napped and what they ate for lunch with an attached picture. I love Gateway Academy!
