The Teachers and Staff at Apple Tree in Clive Iowa, are the BEST! They treat every child as if they were part of their own family. My granddaughter has thrived since she started attending Apple Tree! Her daily response to "How was your day?" is "It was great!". Learning and development is their top priority not only in education, but social skills as well. The facility is always immaculate. My son was enrolled there 20 years ago. I was happy with his experience then as I am happy with my granddaughter's experience now. She could not be in better hands!
Wonderful, caring teachers, a responsive director, and fun, educational daily curriculum! Leaving your infant is difficult - Apple Tree made it so much easier. The director, Crystal, runs a great center. She takes pride in her work and her staff, and demonstrates how much she cares for the kids daily. Darci, the assistant director, started out as the lead infant teacher. She is amazing - responsible, knowledgeable, and so loving. Maggie, my daughter's main teacher, is fantastic. She notices little changes in my daughter and cares about her development. I know my little girl receives the best possible care when she is away from me. I love reading about her day on the daily communication sheets, and I love how her little face lights up when she sees her teachers. She truly loves them. Thank you, Apple Tree, for being such an important part of our daughter's first year of life!
We have LOVED our experience with Apple Tree! We transitioned to Apple Tree after some in-home care options didn't fit our family any longer. Everyone greets us with a smile and enthusiasm when we walk through the door (from the Director and Assistant Director to the support team and of course their teachers too). When our children have transitioned from one room to the next the teachers have done a great job making the change easy on all of us. You can tell the staff is invested in the children they care for and they enjoy what they do. They have taken the time to get to know our kids and are committed to helping them learn and grow. As a mom, I have such peace in my heart when I drop off the kids and they are smiling, and I pick them up and they are still wearing that same smile!! We are so thankful we found Apple Tree!
We moved our 2 year old to Apple Tree 2 months ago. We were looking for better opportunities for her to develop. Our transition was smooth and our daughter loves it here. She interacts with several teachers On a daily basis. The ratio of student/teacher was very important to us. I've never witnessed a time it wasn't met. The teachers are always interacting with the kids and they want to be there. Every morning when I drop off, no matter what time or who the teacher is they are engaged and doing activities with the kids. Our daughters speech has improved so much in 2 months. She's come home with more artwork in 2 months than our old daycare provided in a year. The Father's Day picture they made for me will be a fixture on my desk as long as I live. It's clean and the staff are great. I could go on and on...we love it here.
We are so grateful for the care our daughter received at Apple Tree. Crystal and Darci run an extremely high quality program. Crystal clearly takes pride in her work, and is so knowledgeable about each kid and teacher. Darci is everything you would want in someone in child care - loving, cool under pressure, and smart. Maggie, our daughter's main teacher, did a fantastic job taking care of our daughter, teaching her, and noticing every little change. When our daughter would see Maggie or Darci, she would dive into their arms! Every teacher we met was fantastic. We never felt like we were just dropping our daughter off - she was going somewhere she was loved, cared for, and taught. The curriculum was fantastic. Apple Tree does so many fun and educational activities with the kids. We really believe it is the best child care available. We had to move out of state - and have been unable to find care that reaches the level provided by Apple Tree.
