What Parents Say
Building Blocks Learning Center receives mixed reviews. Three parents praised the caring staff, clean facilities, educational programs, and outdoor spaces, reporting their children thrived socially and academically. Two parents reported serious concerns including dirty water provided to children, alleged retaliatory behavior after complaints, and unclear policy enforcement.
I am extremely pleased with the care and attention my son has received since starting at Building Blocks! He has grown both socially and educationally under the care of the superior staff, as well as Christine, the owner. The rooms are clean, bright and neat and the outdoor area is very big to accommodate all age groups. I love the outdoor "barn" where the kids can burn off some energy even in the cold weather. Nothing but great things to say about them!
My son has been at Building Blocks for 3 years and we (and he) loves it. The teachers have been very nice and responsive to anything we have asked of them and we always feel that he gets the attention that he needs. We feel he is getting a great headstart for future education plus the social skills that will help him transition to the next level. Thanks!
My daughter had been at Building Blocks for almost a year now, she is happy, well cared for, and enjoys her time there. Director, teachers, and staff are all experienced, knowledable, and nurturing. We love it!
If I could give this place of less than one star I would when I 1st enrolled my child everything was great the teacher was awesome no complaints no problems with the school nothing then 1 day they switched rooms new teachers knew everything my child was normal few problems here few problems they're like any other kid then 1 day when I went to pick my child up I had noticed that the water in my child's cup was murky so I brought it home and I put it in a clear glass cup and seen that it was still murky and had black particles in sand in it so I went and spoke to the teacher who could give me no explanation so I then went to the director and after I complained to the director they all of a sudden started telling me how my child was constantly misbehaving when my child's mother went to go pick my child up she had noticed too that the water in my child's cup was dirty so she opened the cup in smelled it in it was very very dirty smelling then my child started coming home with skid marks on my child's underwear in supposably my child's behavior was getting worse so then they put my child into a different Room with older children and then started saying that my child was very aggressive and a lot of other things when I went to pick my child up a few with the children had ran up to me and said that my child had a very good day and was very pleasant to be around while the teacher had scowled at them and told me that my child had misbehaved all day moral of the story is because I launched a complaint against the teacher they took it out on my child they do not care about anything but money the teachers have 0 common sense and so does the director I do not recommend this day care for anyone who actually cares about their child
I did not know sleeping was against the law and policy of this company..
