Buckle My Shoe is the best decision we made for our son! As a full time working mom hesitant to put her child in a full time program - my fears were instantly removed after day 1. My son has flourished, meeting many big milestones with the amazing teachers and environment at BMS. I can't recommend them enough, it's a fantastic community we are lucky to be a part of.
This is a fantastic school!! My 3 year old is currently enrolled 5 days/week from 9-12. I have to rip her from her teachers at the end of the day! She LOVES school. To me, this speaks volumes about the attention, activity, and care that Buckle My Shoes offers each child. On a practical level, I have noticed great developmental jumps in her understanding of the alphabet and numbers, she has begun writing her name, and has new interests in soccer and yoga. I credit all of this to Buckle My Shoe and couldn't be happier that this is where she is schooling during her formidable toddler years.
I am thrilled with the new facility of buckle my shoe! The spacious and bright environment flooded with natural sunlight creates a cheerful atmosphere. The addition of a downstairs play gym adds an extra layer of fun for the kids. The teachers are truly amazing – soo creative, happy, dedicated, caring, and skilled. My child loves every moment here, and as a parent, I couldn’t be happier with the positive changes. We have been a part of the school for many years and both locations. The management is great. I Highly recommend!
My 2 year old son has been at Buckle My Shoe (West Village) since Sept 2023 and I have been very pleased! The creative activities, classroom setting and admin/educators have been amazing. I’ve even learned some ways to communicate with my toddler from them :) Each morning we arrive and there are projects set up around the classroom to immediately engage the children. Parents can be involved in various activities (not mandatory) ie a Halloween parade, a field trip to a pumpkin patch in the fall, a holiday party potluck and guest reader Fridays. They have a foam pit and rock climbing wall, a musician comes in once/week and a soccer coach comes in once/week. It really is just so cute and thoughtful. My son is learning (somehow they taught him how to count to 8 in Spanish!!?) and, most importantly for this age, he feels loved and is having FUN.
