My son has been attending this Center since he was 2yrs until now (turning 4 soon). This is a great daycare! They always open before 8:00am and allow the parents to sit in the hallway to wait for the classrooms to open at 8:00 sharp. They have knowledgeable and supportive teachers; the Director is always welcoming and maintains an open-door policy. They are very quick to respond to you and they communicate whether through phone calls, Class Dojo.
We have been part of the Grand St Child Care family for over two years, and we couldn't be happier. We love the structure, unique learning opportunities, family engagement, and experiences they provide. Mrs. Janet, the director, and the staff do everything they can to provide a rich and nurturing environment for the children (and families!). We are so glad we found Grand St Child Care. We will miss them when our son starts Pre-kindergarten next fall. Just to comment on a review:" No Director by 8:00 am," there are always teachers in the classroom in the morning, and the director, Ms. Janet is at the front door welcoming the parents and children every morning.
Will forever be my FAVORITE DAYCARE/PRESCHOOL EVER my son has gained so much confidence and knowledge. I hate that I’ve moved I would’ve had my daughter go here as well, the staff is amazing the teachers are caring and super communicative I highly recommend this place for your little ones ESPECIALLY if you are a first time mommy. Your kids will be in great hands miss the staff so much.10/10 🤌🏽
The school hours are suppose to be from 8am-6pm but when you arrive at 8am theres never really a director on site and the staff comes in after 8am. No staff there to properly greet the children and the parents as they come in. They also will call you ahead of pick up time to come get your child. They also don’t update parents on important information regarding what’s going on in the school.
So happy to have my son enrolled in this school. The staff are extremely friendly, the director is so helpful and the teachers are so caring and attentive to the kids.
