We have had our children at Brooksfield School since 2021 for Pre-School through Kindergarten, now After School Care and Summer Camps. We have trusted them to help teach our children both academics and important foundational values. Our children have grown wonderfully there and made many good, hopefully lifelong, friends. Brooksfield is filled with talented, caring, and kind teachers and staff. Many of them have worked at the school for decades. Former students return to send their own children to the school, or become camp counselors as young adults. They recently moved to a new location and the transition has felt seamless and they continue to prioritize their quality of education and care. Brooksfield's community of school leadership, teachers, parents, and children is so special. We could not recommend it more.

We absolutely love the administration, the teachers, and what has been created here. We started at a different location and have followed the school to their new location. We are so thankful that nearly everyone carried over to the new site and the school owners/admin handled that transition with grace, transparency and inclusion of parents. The teachers I have come to know are excellent educators and caring, dedicated people. I get the sense that the staff really support and care about one another and it creates a great environment for children and great staff retention (something that is challenging for most early education centers). Both of my children have attended either school or camp here and really love the variety of activities. The school goes above and beyond in terms of their offerings. For example, the school invites special guests, such as native Americans to teach about their culture, musicians, magicians, Spanish class, occupational therapy, etc. Parents are also welcome in the classroom as mystery readers. The Montessori approach and nature-focus is at its core and is the reason we became interested in the school in the first place. My child loves to play in the mud kitchen, go on nature walks and learn about orienteering, insects, birds and gardening. My child has grown so much in the year she has been at the school. The school hosts many celebrations throughout the year and the children perform songs, which is great for both community building and boosting their confidence. The positive discipline philosophy is great and they have sessions to help parents and caregivers to align with this approach at home. My older child attended a different school before our move and in comparing, potential drawbacks to consider are having to provide lunch, shorter hours/school year (though for additional cost you can send your child to extended care and camps). Conversely, the excellent communication, wonderful staff, education and overall community really sets this place apart. Overall, I would recommend this school to everyone. <3

Brooksfield has been an amazing place for both of my kids. The teachers are wonderful, warm, and caring and have been great in helping my kids’ emotional growth as well as educational development. My son finished kindergarten here reading fluently and with a solid base in math and science as well. My kids adore their teachers and the staff are welcoming and helpful as well.

Brooksfield has been an incredible experience for my son and for us as parents. His 3 years there have been filled with lifelong memories and friendships. He has thrived in the environment. The teachers are super kind and warm while also maintaining a very precise set of rules that the kids follow. We will certainly recommend Brooksfield to anyone looking for a Montessori experience that combines all the elements of Montessori with a family type of atmosphere.
