When I first enrolled my children at this location in October of 2021, the director and my son's and daughters teachers were amazing and had great communication and were so nice! I have nothing bad to say about them. Until recent changes occurred in this location I was very happy having my children attend school here. My son lost both of his teachers as they moved on to other opportunities and stages in their professional career, which happens. My daughter also went from Early headstart to regular headstart and she has amazing new teachers. My son has a "floater" in the class named Alex and boy does she rub me the wrong way and likes to argue with you when you try to correct some behaviors you don't like involving a child that hurt mine. I do not like the fact that she told my child that the child who my my son was "only playing". We do not teach our children that when someone assaults you or hurts you that they are "just playing". I do understand that the kids are young and are still learning that is not my issues. My issue is when I tried to let Alex know not to teach my son that when he gets hurts by another child that they child was only playing and that we don't teach that at home. When I corrected on how to do certain things with my child she got super defensive and tried to justify her actions and what she told my son. If Alex is a "floater" in your child's class and incidents happen, please have a conversation with your child about what happened and what the teacher "Alex" said. That was how I learned that she was teaching my son that when someone hurts you they are only "playing". If you do confront her about issues, expect to butt heads and not have a good relationship with Alex. The other thing I did not like was how Jasmine the Director handled things when I went to her to let her know what happened and that Alex was trying to argue with me on how to handle MY child. She tried to defend Alex, saying she has children of her know and she is very experienced. Like yeah that's cool and all but she is not my child's mother and does not need to be teaching him things that against the teaching in our home and then argue with you when you tell her not to do it again. We are hoping to transfer both of our children to another location in hopes that the Director and Teachers do not have an issue with being corrected and not defend such behavior from a "teacher".

I would never recommend this school to anyone as a full time single parent i lost a job i worked at because of this school reporting me to cps for something my mother said which has nothing to do with me as I foster kids through cps now my kids no longer go to this school because if you can call cps on me for nothing I did personally you don't deserve to take care of my children period.
