Bright Stars is an amazing child care facility! The owners, Mrs. Rhonda & Mr. Doug, & all of their staff has made this a great experience. We are a military family & new to this area. We have twins, & With my spouse being deployed, I couldn’t ask for better caregivers to assist me with raising our 1(almost 2 year old babies)! If you’re considering childcare, look no further!! This is the perfect place for you!!!

I had the chance to meet Mr. Doug today and visit the facility. It’s clean, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. All the information Mr. Doug provided was clear and helpful. I truly believe it will be a great experience for my son to spend his day at this daycare—learning, growing, and feeling safe. The setting is wonderful, and the staff members were all so kind and professional. Overall, it’s an excellent place.

I really want to give 4 stars because my son had an amazing time in their summer camp program. However I don’t think that health was their main concern. My daughter was 7-8 months old when she started going here. Within the first two weeks she had the whooping cough. As well as my son. I asked the owner Rhonda if any students had tested positive for it. In which she had told me no. I clearly remembered one day walking into the facility and she told me she had declined a student because they tested positive for pertussis. Which is literally the whooping cough. I let that situation go and removed my daughter from the school due to personal reasons as well as for her health. After this incident occurred the public health department advised me that the daycare needed to be shut down for at least a week. That never happened and Rhoda dismissed the situation stating my daughter and son never contracted the virus from her school. My son who is 5 was also attending the school began telling me how the staff was gossiping about how much my daughter cried. They gave her nickname for it which I can’t recall at the moment. But my son was able to intervene and tell them not to talk about his sister. However the staff continued After a month I decided to let my daughter return back to the daycare only on Monday’s. Her first day back she got the hands, mouth, and foot disease. When I notified the school they acted as if it was normal or like they knew that it was going around. I later asked if students were infected at the school. The director and her boyfriend/husband said “didn’t you know? I sent out an email about a week ago that the kids contracted it.” Once again the school was not closed to be cleaned and the disease started spreading to different classrooms. To me this seemed like a scam to keep getting paid even though people kids were sick. These babies can die from these things and on several occasions was not taken seriously. I advised them that my son never tested positive for the disease. Right before work when I was dropping off my son I was told he couldn’t come into the daycare because of a runny nose. He had the runny nose for the past two weeks and showed no signs of the symptoms. It was a Saturday when I told the school my daughter tested positive. But they waited until the day I had work to flake on me and not keep my son. That wasn’t the first instance in where they weren’t dependable. My son had fun but management was horrible. I was that parent who showed up to help out when I could and celebrated the entire staff. However they were just like snakes in the grass.

My one-year-old absolutely loves it here, every time I go to pick her up, she cries because she doesn’t want to leave. That alone tells me how much she enjoys her time there and how comfortable she feels. Miss Rhonda is amazing, so kind, patient, and helpful and I truly feel like my child is in great hands. Highly recommend!

The staff and owners are AMAZING! My grandkids love going and they make you feel at home with your family. I have and will continue to refer everyone to them. Thanks Rhonda and Doug for making this transition effortless.
