Bright Horizons Ucsf Laurel Heights (Preschool)

My kids love this place, they have a lot of fun, everyone that works there has been very friendly and cheerful. They have done some very cool projects like super hero capes, stuffed animals, beautiful art work, fuse bead shapes, etc. It's very clear that they ask my children what they like and they make an effort to accommodate their requests (judging by the pink and purple hearts my kids bring home, a drawing of a unicorn bunny with a rainbow, a bunny stuffed animal, etc.) They are great at communicating, I really enjoy the daily summary which includes pictures and if I call they always pick up. They are also very well prepared, each kid gets a cubby with their name and a name tag. They offer snacks and have the kids wash their hands before eating, in a sink at their height located inside the classroom. I like that they have a separate bathroom just for adults outside the classroom. They give you 15' of parking validation at pick up and at drop off, which is super nice considering how expensive parking at that building is.

I am incredibly grateful to the staff at this care facility. The level of care provided by everyone here goes above and beyond my expectations. It brings me great peace of mind to know that when I leave my daughter, she is in the best possible hands. The dedication and professionalism of the staff truly set this facility apart, having a profound impact on her care and the wellbeing of our family.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — Wonderful Experience at Bright Horizons on California Street We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Bright Horizons on California Street. We used our back-up care benefit, and everything was seamless from start to finish. The check-in process was incredibly easy—we were able to complete all of the required forms online before arriving, which made the morning so smooth. The director was very kind and welcoming, and took the time to give us a tour. The teachers were engaging, warm, and genuinely caring. They were so wonderful with my son, who had never attended any school or daycare program prior to this visit. He warmed up quickly thanks to their gentle approach. Throughout the day, the teacher sent several photos through the Bright Horizons app, along with updates about his meals, diaper changes, and activities. Even though I was at work, I felt like I was still part of his day. It gave me so much peace of mind. Pick-up was a breeze, and they even validate parking. The facility is easy to find on the concourse level, and the parking garage is simple to access. Everything about the experience felt organized, safe, and truly child-centered. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly loving and attentive—my son didn’t want to leave! He’s already looking forward to his next visit. Great place and people. Have had my 1st son come here since he was a baby for back up care, and they are extremely nice and professional. Now, Both my boys come here from time to time, they always want to come back, and are sad to leave. Every time we come back they are always greeted and remembered by the staff..
