Bright Horizon'S Children'S Center

Bright Horizons, has declined so much. directors come and go. To pay that much for child care for what? They Have lots of allegations of teachers yelling at the children and pushing them to the ground. I am glad my daughter does not go there anymore, took her out just like many concerned parents took their kids out from that place.

Honestly couldn’t be happier that our daughter is at this facility. People are great, love the photo updates during the day, and she is thriving with all the activities they do.

We LOVE Bright Horizons Crown Colony! We started our daycare journey for our first child here when she was just 3 months old. BH Crown Colony welcomed our daughter with open arms, and treated us like family each and every day. The administrative staff is very organized, the classroom teachers are incredibly loving and upbeat...the children in the rooms here are always smiling, engaged and happy, thanks to their wonderful teachers. It was clear that our daughter was making great social connections with her peers here, and also getting the chance to take part in stimulating, hands-on activities. We also were extremely well informed throughout the day, due to the teachers frequently updating the My Bright Day app with helpful information and pictures. If you have the chance to go to Bright Horizons Crown Colony, you will not be disappointed!

Both our children have been attending this Bright Horizons (infant and 4yr old), conveniently located 15min from our home and right next to the highway. The longer center hours are perfect for those of us who endure long commutes in/out of Cambridge and want to feel like you are getting ahead of the nightmare traffic. Regarding the center - we toured MANY different daycares in the area, did our due diligence online with state reports and reading every review; and what I can personally tell you is that this is hands down the best place we visited. Not to call out other places, but one of the Montessori’s in the area gave off some very “snobby” vibes and lacked diversity, and another newer larger chain daycare always had their front doors propped open for anyone to enter in/out 😬 The facility itself is rather unique in that it is its own standalone facility with their own different age appropriate outdoor playgrounds. Yes - the price tag is heavy, but with that comes incredible teachers, caregivers who listen and work with you, and leaders who are invested in your child to ensure they are happy, safe, and growing. I love checking the app throughout my day to see what my little ones are up to, likewise it’s great that they are able to communicate through this to you directly so there are no miscommunications. I also love that they have regular opportunities for fun socialization during and after hours so you also get to meet some of your kids classmates and their parents too. The curriculum that is provided feels like a mix of Montessori, STEM-focused and a creative learning approach…we love it and have seen how much our son has blossomed here with the structure they provide and all the incredible teaching staff. From a safety perspective- which for an anxious mom was the priority, this location has multiple safety measures including limited access opportunity to the building for outsiders. The school is also a nut-free facility and take allergies issues incredibly seriously (if that is a concern to you). Overall, I highly recommend!

My wife and I have two children at the Bright Horizons in Crown Colony. What impresses us most about the center is how much the staff cares about supporting the social and emotional development of all children and supporting each child in reaching or surpassing developmental milestones. The teachers have a love for working with children and it truly shows. Crown Colony is more of a community where you get a chance to meet the team, interact on the daily basis, and form lasting bonds with the team and other families that attend the center. The administration of the center is top notch. They actively seek input from families. Also, if your child is experiencing any challenges they'll be with you to chart out a plan to make sure the behavior/issue is corrected at school and at home which I appreciate. Crown Colony truly flourished when Heather took over as the Center's Director and when Catherine took over managing the education program. They've brought a vibe to the center that is warm, engaging, and stimulating. Prospective parents can tour the center to see if Crown Colony is the right fit for your little ones as well.
