Bright Beginners Montessori

Absolutely avoid Bright Beginners. Our 3 year old has been attending there since July with no issues, until suddenly at the end of September, we began receiving incident reports of another child hurting her, from scratching and biting. Of the 17 days our child was in attendance between September 27 and October 30, there were 6 incidents where this child intentionally hurt my child, with all of the incidents being unprovoked. While I understand that children can sometimes be mean and this could happen, this has become too much. I have also learned that this child had also been consistently injuring all the other children as well. I can tell by all the scratches on the other children’s faces. Communication with the director has been lackluster, often times not even getting a response. The final straw was Monday when I picked up my child and she had yet another obvious scratch on her face, this time with NO incident report. Director once again nowhere to be found and still has not replied to my message I sent about this. The co director assured me that the director would contact me about this. She still has not. When I take my child to daycare, I expect my child to be safe and taken care of. When there are problems with multiple injuries to multiple children, something has to be done. They were given many opportunities to correct this. Director originally told me this other child was given a notice of termination. However, I got a different story from the co director that the child had not been given a termination notice yet. This place absolutely can not be trusted to keep our children safe, based on previous reviews and now my own experience. My daughter now goes to a different daycare that is close to this one. She LOVES her new daycare and is so much happier, but gets terrified when we pass by Bright Beginners, as she thinks we are going there. Total relief for her when we tell her she doesn’t have to go there anymore. Or in her words “I won’t get scratched anymore!”

The absolute worst daycare you could enroll you child! I cant even describe the amount of disgust this place brings. Not really sure how they are still open with how they treat the kids, the environment they keep the kids in, or how the facility is even ran. Do your self a favor and run away fast. No child should ever be left in this safety hazard of a building.

I suggest not taking your child here. The staff is extremely rude to the kids especially the ones on the spectrum. They make the employees put their legs over kids if they don’t lay down for a nap time. The place is crawling with ants as well. None of the staff members sit down and play with or help teach the kids. The only reason it got 1 star is because I can’t make it 0. I am not sure who you are speaking to as I do NOT have a daughter who works there thankfully.

BBM is a great childcare facility in Mt. Washington area.
