Our oldest son attended Briarwood in Seekonk, MA for preschool and K-Prep and our daughter is now in K-Prep after starting as a toddler. Overall the center has great staff and is dedicated to the children. A major plus is that the inside and outdoor areas are very spacious and clean. We toured several facilities before enrolling our kids and that was a major benefit here. Our son is doing great in Kindergarten after the preparation he received there and our daughter is making great strides to be in the same place. Our children have been in Miss Jen's class the past two years and she is absolutely the best teacher we could have asked for. My wife and I could not have more respect for her and our kids adore her. They have several parties and functions throughout the year so you can meet other parents and it creates a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be sending our youngest daughter here in September. This facility is a must to check out if you are looking for child care with learning in the Seekonk area.
My 2 year old daughter has been attending here in toddlers for a few months now. The new director is amazing and I have no complaints. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, my daughter loves going and I've felt that communication between staff and parents has been great via in person, paper communication and e-mails.
My son was super attached to me when he first started and had a hard time transitioning, but the girls there are very patient and are champs when it comes to soothing and comforting momma missing babies! He runs over to his teachers now, and it makes me so happy to see that he is so comfortable with someone who isn’t family! I really couldn’t recommend them enough!
I cannot say enough great things about this daycare center! The staff goes above and beyond. They really help put parents at ease when it comes to leaving your little one in the care of others. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
If I could give them less than one star, I would. PLEASE please contact the Dept of Early Education and Care to get the results of the most recent investigation into multiple, serious violations. This includes (but is not limited to): inadequate supervision leading to severe physical injury, losing children for a period of time, not notifying parents in a timely way of these events, and not notifying other parents in the classroom of ANY of these violations (until a parent obtained this report, which is public knowledge). Avoid at all costs.
