Boys & Girls Clubs Of Tn Valley - Lenoir

I've called every month to ask about the place for my daughter, and all I get told is that it's moving and never get asked my child's name to provide the place she in until I said I'm tired of hearing that it's moving along I need to know where my daughter's spot is, told me that someone called my number and left a voice message which is a lie, I didn't receive no voicemail nor a missed called because i have their number programmed in my phone asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that there wasn't one until Monday. Poor communication, lieing about calling me, I know I call every month and now she doesn't have a spot for this summer. Absolutely won't ve bringing my child to a place that's disorganized and that lies.

This will be our second experience with a boys and girls club. This one is FAR less organized, less clean, less convenient and WAY WAY MORE expensive than the other counties in East TN. It says online that millions of dollars are donated to the TN Valley Boys and Girls Clubs and it makes me wonder how that money is being spent. Most days my child doesn't get ANY outdoors time either which I thought laws were in place to avoid. The other boys and girls club was open RAIN, SHINE, SNOW, anything and everything, they were prepared for. This one is basically closed when school is which I feel defeats the purpose of what a boys and girls club is supposed to be.

Love the Staff, and the way they work with Parents who are struggling. They have been wonderful to me and to my children. I couldn't imagine my children going anywhere else!!
